A plane on conveyer belt will it take off?

With the belt moving backwards fast enough there would be more frictional force pulling the plane back (by its wheels) than thrust from the engines. It wouldn't move forwards so it wouldn't generate any lift.

However, as I said earlier, with the belt runing that fast it would drag enough air past the wings to generate lift anyway.
