Anjruu
My physics teacher, being the wonderful person she is, has assigned my class a project. The goal is to "build a car that is self-propelled." It basically means a propeller. I was wondering what the best design was. I figured 45 deg skew along the axis, and as large height- and length-wise as possible, but what about depth? Having the fans extend backwards? Anything else we should think of? insane_alien
it doesn't necessarily mean a propeller. you could use a rubber band to spin a wheel or two or a small electric motor with some solar panels from those solar powered calculators. or are there other restrictions that you haven't told us? Klaynos
I've build a few of these whilst I was in high school (12 - 16) and even won multiple comeptitions... The best deisgn I found was a very long device did not infact use a prop... But I like makeing people do their own work, so in about a month I'll post pics of my last and bestest attempt... kabooom
Mouse traps are pretty cool for propulsion, but I notice this is wayyyy late heh.
