Karnage Posted July 23, 2006 Share Posted July 23, 2006 I'm not much of an expert on cancer, but after reading a few articles, I wonder if the same mechanism that drives cancer cells to replicate at an accelerated rate (mitosis malfunction) could also be the same mechanism that halts neurons from undergoing mitosis when mature?
