Ovulation is promoted by Luteinising hormone (LH) . LH secretion in anterior pituitary gland is promoted by high levels of oestrogen . Oestrogen secretion is carried out by Follicles in the Ovary . Lastly , Follicle stimulate hormone is the hormone that stimulates the follicle to release oestrogen. THUS , the whole process is chain reaction .
