amrit
Time Is What We Measure With Clocks With clocks we measure duration of movement of material bodies and particles into cosmic space. In every physical formula symbol t indicates the duration of the movement. Time is movement, movement is time; two words that describe the same physical phenomena. The speculation that time run in cosmic space by itself has no experimental evidence, it is pure preposition that should be abandoned. In The Theory of Relativity time is considered as a fourth dimension X4 of cosmic space. This understanding of time is not exact. X4 = i x c x t -i is a imaginary number -c is a speed of light -t is number that indicates duration of the movement symbol t in X4 indicates the duration of the movement of material body and particle in space X4 is not temporal coordinate 1T, cosmic space has not 3 spatial dimensions and one temporal dimension: 3D + 1T, cosmic space has four spatial dimensions, cosmic space is 4D. In the fast inertial systems and in a strong gravitational field cosmic space is shrinking in all 4 dimensions. The shrinking of the dimension X4 we experience and measure as the diminishing of the speed of the movement of material bodies and particles. The movement of clock mechanisms is slower in a fast airplane than on the earth. The movement of clock mechanisms is slower at the seaside as on the top of the high mountain near by seaside. The movement of the planet Mercury is slower regarding the movement of the earth, because planet Mercury is moving in a stronger gravitational field and earth is moving in a weaker gravitational field. The result is a dilate of perihelion of the Mercury. Time is a physical quantity measured by clocks. With clocks we measure duration of the movement of matter-energy into space. Time is movement. Max Planck says that in a Planck time a photon pass Planck distance. Time is a movement of a photon into Planck distance. The movement of photon into Planck distance is a "smallest" movement possible in the universe. Planck time t is a number that indicates the duration of the photon travelling in a Planck distance. Time does not run by itself into cosmic space. The idea that time run by itself into cosmic space is from the times of Newton. At his time physics was a part of metaphysics. The idea is from metaphysics, it is not from physics. Understanding that material bodies and particles do not move in time, that their movement itself is time will deeply change our understanding of the universe, of life and of human being itself. No, no, no and yes.
trvlrpsmyrph
Time is the measurement, a percentage of the relationship between gravity and size, a reaction to an expanding universe.
Xyph
Honestly, whatever abstract, ill-defined, obscure and roundabout definition of time you want to think in (for what reason I can't fathom) is utterly irrelevant to anything. What use is your convoluted hypothesis?
[Tycho?]
Time is the measurement, a percentage of the relationship between gravity and size, a reaction to an expanding universe. Oh really.
