[/center] The collective unconscious refers to a sort of gene pool of a priori programming collectively shared by all humans which allows our temperments to be grouped by specific qualities. The gene pool analogy is apt because modern psychology is of the opinion that these temperments and our personality as a whole are largely genetic in nature.
