They say it's a "wyrm":
Wyrm (plural wyrms): (mythology, fantasy) A huge limbless and wingless dragon or dragon-like creature, or sea serpent.*

But it seems like a good example of British humour?

Using camping equipment as a helmet looks like something from Monty Python; see the original video from "Erwin Saunders" (not sure that is his real name) https://youtu.be/3JiFw9g0duE?t=601

Here is the link to the "Wyrm", 13:48 into the video: https://youtu.be/3JiFw9g0duE?t=828

It did have legs and my first thought was some sort of giant salamander, they do occur in Asia, but this video is not in Asia. I have to admit to being a little bit stupid, I would have tried to catch it, it wasn't "that" big!

It looks to me like a giant salamander. https://nationalzoo.si.edu/animals/japanese-giant-salamander

Quote

Japanese giant salamanders are the second-largest salamander species in the world, reaching lengths of up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) and weighing up to 55 pounds (23 kilograms). Chinese giant salamanders take first place.

They're amphibian, but can survive on land.

I had a second look; a salamander body is a good guess. It seems like the front legs are positioned further back from the head than on a real one. The head of the creature could be modelled from a combination of a catfish (front tentacles and mouth) and a ceratopsid /  Centrosaurus (back section of head).

Well there seems to be an extra from Lord of the Rings at 32:30.........

Seriously though, why are you watching crap YouTube videos, now? YouTube is full of this sort of stuff, with computerised voiceovers like this one.

The "creature" looks to me like a devil's coach horse beetle, one of the rove beetles. Some clown seems to have made a mock-up of one, the size of a small dog and intercut it into the film along with footage of a real one, taken in a way that disguises the scale.  The animation of the dog-sized one is very poor - as bad as 1970s Dr Who. In other words, you've been had.

Here's a picture of the insect:

I watch lots of stuff for entertainment, I thought this one was particularly weird, the guys running from it, IMHO, was a dead giveaway.   BTW, this "creature" is so obviously fake it beggars the imagination that anyone would take it seriously. When i was young my friends and I would have dug out the mountain to pursue something like this, the idea the guy ran and didn't do back is ludicrous.

That wasn't quite fair, i apologize, I should have pointed out it couldn't be real before I resurrected a dead thread. The "creature" in question not only wasn't real it couldn't have been real. It was an apparent amalgam of so many different creatures as to be ridiculous. When I first posted this I was amazed that such a thing could be faked so well. Again my apologies if you thought I seriously considered this to be a living organism.
