Because of Capitalism and Communism A country that had nothing in the conflict between the West and East was divided and it’s people divided for what’s going to be A century soon. What can be done to return korea into one whole country ? It’s economy ? Military Structure ?

Here some ideas any help for the Koreans

Korean reunification is possible there 4 or 5 factors needed just going to make possible. in 100 yrs it could be united because reality the situation with China is keyfactor. They must make A deal where they will see Asia interest first and not occident. Second they must use Economy it will be the the biggest factor to make it possible. Making household prices so cheap and encourage the public for unity. Propaganda , cinema , culture keep it up for 30 yrs and it will be 100 or 200 of billions of dollars wasted but for the cause it would work. Then third factor is technology it will be A double edge sword because the right tecnology must be used so the state does not become punitive and dictatorship but freedom based government exist like in the western countries.

Fourth deal must also made for the occident so the westernes can’t use it for war and make peace deals for China and USA. The fifth and crucial of this tactics I won’t say better later say it for it is vital information and will be very important.

Korean unification is possible but to be hasty and think it doesnt have too many tricks to make it possible and avoid nuclear war at all costs is not foolhardy. One day it will happen first G-d the koreans know it was the world banks that wanted the korean war against the soviet union it all ended bad and the korea had to pay the price.

It will be undone because technology changes everything.

The North Korean dictators must die. That could be brought about revolution or civil war, but neither is any more likely than it being re-taken by South Korea - and it's also unlikely that SK will break up with the US; though NK may be getting ready to detach from China, that trend would instantly end under military threat from the West.

What usually does work : Takeover by a bigger nation. That can happen through invasion and conquest, with millions of casualties, or annexation, with only a few hundred thousand. The top 3 administrative tiers of both governments and the top level of civil service, as well as all the generals and police chiefs, have to be removed - how far removed the lower ranks are depends on their willingness to co-operate with the new rulership. Of course, the top government officials and the entire secret service has to be eliminated - not allowed to escape.

If the new rulership is smart, they'll know what incentives to offer, and they will go very easy on the civilian populations, disrupting their daily life as little as possible - even if it includes decorating gold statues of the Giant Baby - for a while; let that custom fade away on its own, rather than banning it. Banning and forbidding things people are used to engenders resistance: peaceable cultural habits, religious practice, etc., even if they are contrary to the new rulers' world-view, should be left alone.  Appoint the financial and industrial executives of South Korea to reorganize the economy, with guidance from the overlords, but with minimal direct interference. This would mean gradual increments in the standard of living of North Koreans, with no harm to the South Koreans. It's crucial to give neither population any cause to envy or resent the other: the sooner the civilian populations, then the rank and file of armies are reconciled, the less trouble they'll make. Sponsor scientific and professional conferences, school outings, tree-planting weekends, concerts, outdoor fairs and markets, sporting events and summer camps where the people from both sides can mingle while pursuing a pleasant activity.

At least, that's how I would do it. But then, I'm not an imperial power.

No o-o dictator dead makes civil war and nuclear war escalate in that scenario, think of the people. Perhaps new technology to help north korea not by force but by buying. Making huge sum fo money and making deals between both countries to make programs where the country unifies South Korea and North Korea. Like buildings that North Korea needs more hospital South Koreas pays for it all and they make cheap labor. Make school programs and thus the new generation wants the unification because really to those who know South Korea, The division of the Berlin wall, and other countries which do not name. There will be other North and South Countries like Africa where countries are being changed by world events and forced to do what the U.N. and big banks want. No the cold war continues and now it's against USA vs China, Russia vs China, India vs Russia, India vs USA, and USA vs Russia because the money decide the outcome like one evil Rothchild said !
