An investigation of the effects of the blade camber_direction and the pitch_angle on the performance of the vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) by using Gurney flaps shows the inward Gurney_flap is superior at a pitch angle of less than 10 degrees, while the outward Gurney flap is effective at a pitch angle of more than 10 degrees.
