mohammed sameer Posted April 11, 2019 Share Posted April 11, 2019 (edited) here is brief explanation: the moment of inertia (on its own axis)of cat is different on the branch compared to moment of inertia when falling . so does the angular velocity. hence to conserve angular momentum it twist itself..
