Thanks for the reply. I did in fact. As I stated earlier, this is my first foray into a subject of this nature and I was wondering if there was any materials on this topic for beginners since most of the materials and papers bar one was for people who are familiar with the research

It would be helpful if you could fill in more detail since neither of these subjects are suitable for beginners.

Both these reactions are currently the subject of intensive and secretive research for commercial and national economic/ security reasons.
Hence much remains unpublished about the subject.

Do you know enough electrochemistry to understand the potentials involved and catalysis theory to support efforts?

Where exactly do you want to start?
