LazyLaffer
I have a quick question for anyone who may be able to help... I apologies in advance if this post is in the wrong place... I have been tasked with designing a new logo for a large(ish) company. The word ION is prominent in the company name, so they have asked to incorporate an ion symbol of some sort within the logo. Not a problem so far... However, they have also asked (although the word is spelt Ion they pronounce it Iron) if I can include some form of Iron, to signify strength. So my question is, could I include II or III somewhere within the logo as a nod to both Ion and Iron? If so, which one is the most common and/or 'strongest'? II, III or even II III...? Unless I'm completely off the mark altogether. I just wouldn't like to include something that's not accurate at all and have a bunch of Neil deGrasse Tysons on my case... Thank you for any help anyone may provide...
chenbeier
Fe2+ or Fe3+ is for Iron or alternativ Fe(II) or Fe(III).
LazyLaffer
Thank you for your reply Chenbeier... I take it that it wouldn't make sense if I just used the III then...? Shame coz it fitted really well...
