There is a different type of field for every type of particle (because particles are excitations of their fields).

I will keep this in mind while I do my homework.

I have been reading and grasp completely classical fields and mediums... Because I am sure it will come up in my studies, I will ask now...

Do fermions have a fermions type of field? If so, all other fields arise from fermion interactions? EM even is a result of fermion field interaction?

What about the medium? This seems to smack of aether...

Thx for the link, quite informative!

Each fundamental fermion has its own field.

No. Because some fundamental particles are bosons.

The particle associated with the em field is the photon, which is a boson

The fields are the media.
