mad_scientist
Apart from eggs, pepper and butter, what other ingredients do you guys put in your favourite omelettes for breakfast?

iNow
Mushrooms, onion, and bacon make my kiddo smile, ergo my own lips turn upward from that combo, too

dimreepr
A good mature cheddar and spring onion, a combo that works equally well in scrambled egg on toast, both of which are best using a goose egg; thanks for my upcoming sleepless night waiting for breakfast, especially since the geese have started laying. geordief
I like to use a blue cheese occasionally (so it melts into little islands) . My mother always put the omelette under the grill at the end.

I always add milk or a little water to the eggs to make the omelette lighter. Smoked salmon is very good, blue cheese cherry tomatoes and garlic comes in a close second. After this adding just bacon bits or fish flakes or crushed and chopped garlic or chopped onions or grated potatoes makes for a bit of variation.
