What is the difference between Dronabinol and Marinol. Everyone seems to be refering to the two drugs together, but they can't be the same thing.

Another great, albeit old, propaganda movie about Marijuana: watch "Refer Madness". It's about these kids back in the 40's who get into marijuana. They start to go crazy and murder people. The whole affect is really comedic.

I doubt this is true. This is becasue when fuel burns, it is not the liquid that is burning. A spark causes the fumes to combust, generating heat that causes the rest of the liquid fuel to vaporize, then that fuel combustes. It is not actually the fuel droplet that is being burned.

Unfortunately I don't have cable access, and my TV is in my basement, so it blocks out all signals. I'll listen to the news, that map/article that coquina posted seems to be the most up-to-date.

 

I know people who have family in the targeted areas. I hope they're ok.

What your proposing, a direct democracy, which uses technology as a voting means. It sounds good, but I worry about hackers fixing votes. Also, if a direct democracy didn't survive in Rome, I don't think it would survive here. Definately too much media interference. People would vote for the bill that has the best advertising.

Thanks, I'll take your advice. Now that I'm on a vacation I'm using my comp. more often. When I start going back to school, I'll leave it off.

I'm leaning towards that myself now. I see its use for medicinal purposes, but I can't bring myself to believe that it should be legalized (for reasons forementioned)

What about in terms of energy usage. Does it cost more energy to leave your computer on all the time, or turn it on/off every time you use it (say you use your comp a couple of times per day)

I woudn't use marijuana anyway. It's still putting foriegn material into your body, I'm sure the smoke still could cause some lung damage. Probably less damaging then cigarettes, but I wouldn't smoke them either.

I wouldn't recomend legalizing marijuana for one reason. It will become just another cigarette company. Cigarette companies add tons of crap to tobacco to make them addicting. Some of the chemicals in Cigarettes are Acetone, Ammonia, Arsenic, Benzene, Benzoapyrene, Butane, Cadmium, Formaldehyde, Lead, Propylene Glycol and Turpentine. I can just see new Marijuana cigarette companies adding these chems to marijuana cigarettes. Now marijuana will be legal, and addicting, and just as bad as cigarettes.

Then how is nitrogen a direct waste product of respiration. In an STP, bacteria is breaking up nitrogen into component forms. A bacterium not in this environment would still carry out respiration. But would they produce nitrogenous by-products?

I'm pretty sure that discription is accurate. Isn't pi calculated using integration, the area under the curve using an infinite number of rectangles? I know that's how the formula's for rectangles and triangles are derived. Can anyone expand?

Oh...That makes a lot of sense. Of course psychological addiction can be every bit as dangerous as a physical addiction, can't it.

I've always thought the most selfish thing you can do is commit suicide. One rarely thinks of suicide as a way to fix your own problems, and rarely considers it's effect on other people.

Are you sure? I think CO2 is the waste product of aerobic respiration. Maybe you mean anaerobic respiration?
