  1. I think this is probably a silly question, but if Anatoly Fomenko can shift dates around by hundreds or even thousands of years, how much true written-multiple-source, or physical evidence is there of the middle ages? I mean, is it even possible to date castles or city walls? Maybe manuscripts?
  2. Evolution says that humans came from an ape, baboon, chimpanzee, gorilla, or monkey (not quite sure what the difference is). So why, then, do all ancient cultures say that humans (and some of our earliest technology) were made by gods? None of them say we came from animals, as far as I know. What's going on, here?
  3. Ever get the feeling that living your life is actually someone playing you in a game? Or viewing your life on a screen or a filmstrip or something. Or maybe it's like Assassin's Creed, where they're trying to find certain details about your life.
  4. So I was reading something about "pyramid power" when I had this idea. Does pyramid power cause time to stop or go backwards, hence the sharpened blades and slower rotting? It reminds me of Tom Brown and Eric Dollard's ideas about Steinmetz, a "time camera", and "ether". And of Thomas Bearden's idea of "time-reversed" waves. Perhaps it could combine with my idea that each thing has its own time.
  5. The two academic journals threw out my two papers without doing experiments or peer-reviewing. You might say it is just about my papers being mistaken somehow. But I don't think they're mistaken (except the part with the capacitor that was actually a thermistor). But the other ten or so experiments still stand in my opinion. Even if they're all misinterpreted, the important thing here is to notice that they can throw it out or reject submissions at all without testing them or peer reviewing them. They didn't say my experiments failed or anything or why. Just that my paper was rejected. I think the peer review stage was listed as after acceptance.
  6. I have an important question. I had a Mass Media class back in high school. And (I think it was this class, It may have been a different one), they were having mock trials. In these mock trials, they did something they called "cross-referencing". This seemed to mean that one of the people of the court staff or one of the parties checks each person's story for self-consistency and sense. In other words, they make sure a party's claims don't conflict with their other claims. I'm no longer sure this happened at all. But my question is this: Has "cross-referencing" ever been done to science?
  7. Is this mathematical/image proof that electric force electric theory is wrong? Maybe not? This might belong in the other thread, but I decided to make a new one for it for now. How electric parallel circuits should work (I think). How they work in parallel in reality(I think).[ attachment=5714:battery and wire force 2.jpg] Gravity seems to have the same effect on water. Maybe the second image is 2 force and energy instead of 1 force and energy.
  8. Well, I guess it's not a real proof or disproof test.
  9. I once asked god to give/make for me a pile of gold/money on the top of the wooden dining table (It hasn't been used as one for years now.) by the next day. It didn't happen. It's been probably months since then. Still no pile of gold/money on the table.
  10. What evidence is there that the "stars" in the night sky (the sun could be a different matter, being close to us compared to the night sky "stars") are stars? Could they be giant flashlights? With noble gases? Or UFOs? or UFOs with giant flashlights with noble gases? Or something else? No views yet. Now the views appeared.
  11. Does truth even exist past a certain point? In my guess, things and ideas that don't have any evidence in the universe to prove them don't have truth (They can't be "true"). Maybe all options are in "superposition"? No views yet. Now the views appeared.
  12. I think that's energy, not entropy. Entropy is disorder, right?
  13. Normally, all sunlight would spread out at the speed of light, but here, It would focus. Perhaps plastic lenses could reduce weight.
  14. Do magnifying glasses defy entropy by focusing sunlight? Using mirrors and lenses, you could supposedly focus all of the sun's light on an area a few hundred feet across or smaller, defying entropy. I suppose the target would boil, but maybe it would still work and may still defy entropy.
  15. I don't know if this goes here. I noticed this just tonight. If Buddha, Mohammed, or Jesus existed nowadays, he'd be told to lay off the 'shrooms and get a real job. Is there a section for religious commentary?
  16. Link to topic: "Alternative to Novikov self-consistency principle" http://www.scienceforums.net/topic/78256-alternative-to-novikov-self-consistency-principle/
  17. Instead of not being able to change the past in sci-fi time travel, my idea is that a change to the past would create overwrite waves, overwriting the universe/time events at the speed of time. In other words, it is like restarting a level after a game over/losing.
  18. I'm not sure empty space can exist. Does it exist? Maybe it's not empty? What does "empty space" even mean? Maybe space/locations is/are "space pixels" on a "space screen"? It almost seems like the term "empty space" is a paradox. Maybe "nothing" and "space" are two different terms?
  19. "In your frame, nothing changes." and " you clock running slow" seem contradictory. Am I missing something? Is that a defiance of the identity theorem? My medicine bottle experiment would suggest that the universe is objective, not subjective. A bird chirps even when you can't see it.
  20. Let's say you are going near the speed of light, .99 times the speed of light. Now in relativity, time would slow down (the ship and you, right?), your mass would increase, and the spaceship would "shorten". The problem here is that when the ship slows down, the engine also slows down, because it is part of the ship. This means that since the engine has slowed down (I don't know what happens to the exhaust, but the engine could be electrogravitic or electromagnetoNewtonian instead of a rocket), the ship also slows down, and thus should experience less relativity. But then the engine would speed up and cause the exact same problem as before. But I think that relativity is the wrong explanation of the universe.
  21. Does the idea of a "big bang" make any sense? I don't know. Haw can this alleged start of time occur when there wasn't any time before time in which it would start? Is there like fifth dimensional hypertime or something?
  22. But with you having locked them, it wouldn't matter much. Just saying.
  23. What does that mean? Is it a yes? a no? something else?
  24. What's the legality of collecting all of my posts into a book and then selling the book?
