  1. if Minkowski space was to be described as continous

There is much debate over describing Minknowski space as either continous or discrete because there is no identities to describe it so the hope of ever dividing space is still possible under the lack of knowledge of Minknowski space so far.

  2. However I think we are talking about involving 'real life Minkowski space' we still have to take into acount that the idea of a mathematical so if Minkowski space was to be described as continous. Don't we have the same properties of Euclidean space and so we could infer that the BT paradox can still be taken forward?

  3. I haven't been in the forum in ages so I thought I'd say hi (not that anyone rembers me :( )

I got into a discussion about the BT paradox and I was wondering what would happen if we converted the paradox from Euclidean space to Minkowski space.

    Ideas?

  4. I am not saying that String Theory is the right "Theory for Everything" even though I myself beleif in it. But I can safely say the String Theory seems to be the only Theory that is pushing itself forwards towards the way of a "Theory of Everything" and because of that even if you don't beleive I think it should still be given respect, as well as the scienctist that have dedicated their lives to it.

  5. I haven't given up hope of ETI and I still have SETI at home running on my desktop, but to tell the truth, I think that SETI themselves have given up their webpage is rubbish and not maintained. I think they need to sort it out.

  6. So I just wanted to know what people thought about the existance of time as a particle.

Quite and interesting statement and one that definately "thinks outside the box", so what does everyone else think about it here.
