I have been husbanding a small endangered fish for the last few months. I started out with about 12 of them and now I have more than 12 dozen of them.

@koti I beat the door into place with a hammer, it's difficult to shut and open but I think I'll have to buy a door from the local parts yard. I messed it up pretty bad...

Damn, I hit several of those, I'll have to check with my doc to see what he thinks. I've had ringing, the feeling of liquid rolling around in my ears... Just one more damn thing I guess. I am making plans to get my health back as soon as I can start getting out and walking. Last time I went fish collecting I got stuck in mud and took me well over an hour to crawl 50'. That has inspired me to give getting my health back a priority...

Stringjunky, I was thinking the same thing, I hope it's not but I have fallen much more often of late.
MigL I am 63, it does seem like like the older I get.. the older i get! I am not old enough to be this fragile. Raider5678, This is the third time in my life I have broken ribs, the first two were in motorcycle crashes. It hurts like hell ad I cannot allow myself to watch comedy, laughing is no laughing matter!

Amazing day today. A kid walked into class, talked to the teacher and asked if he could do a presentation about the dangers of drinking a particular thing, she said yes.
He then, I swear to god, gives a 15-minute presentation on the dangers of the chemical, and at the end, my teacher congratulates him on teaching us all on a danger she never even heard of but is not going to advocate against.
The chemical? DiHydrogen Monoxide.

Damn TV died last night, it's old, I tried the quick fixes I looked up on google, none worked.
Looks like I might have to use my Computer monitor as a tv for a while.
If I can get the monitor to hook up with the dish.

It looks like I'll live, my left is smashed up pretty bad and I can't remember how I did it or why my car door is messed up. My only memory is driving home from the pet shop and seeing my vision go double but my memory stops there...

Nancy is home, I got her settled in, the dogs are ecstatic, and I am very glad to have her home. She is not allowed to move from one place to another without me hovering over her but she'll get used to it!

Going out to do some fish collecting today. Checking on a reported population of invasive shrimp at the stat ports near where i live.

Our 18 month old became recently as distructive as a black hole. He grabs things, imediately runs away at light speed laughing like an evil space lord and boom - the object is gone into oblivion. He fell asleep, we wanted to watch a movie but I can’t get the amp to work... aparently the evil space lord took care of that too.

Does anyone have any knowledge about fluorescent light ballasts? I just got a replacement ballast and it has two wire too many!

I have 750 LEDs of various colors on the aquarium for plant growth but the light makes the fish and plants look funky. The Fluorescent is just to make the light look more natural. Plants require light that is not particularly pleasing to the eye, mostly red and blue, so the LEDs are mostly red and blue. With marine tanks it become even more important to have very blue shifted light, shallow water plants and corals still use red light but below 33 feet there are no red wavelengths. If you cut your self diving lower than 33 or more feel your blood looks fluorescent green.
