  1. you could obtain energy from the exhaust of one engine' date=' however i doubt you could get a lot of energy, i dont know how overall efficient the pair of engines would be as you cannot harvest much power from the exhaust fumes.

whilst is may work i dont know about efficiency.[/quote']

The exaust gases have about 40% of the total thermal energy of gasoline and another 25% of this energy is in the radiator.

If a Stirling engine has an efficiency about 30% then you can add

    another 20%(30% of (40+25)) at Otto efficiency: 25% + 20% = 45%.

But the only Stirling engine would have to be more efficient.

  2. I think this can be possible:

the sun has a rotation motion and at its equator the tangential speed is more high.

If a superficial explosion at equator occurs then the mass has more probability to go out of the sun forming the planets with all its 2D orbits

    near the solar equatorial plane.

    Can it be possible?........

  3. the moon's of jupiter have plenty of water ice

and they have great scenery because jupiter is big in the sky and

    very beautiful

and because of the gravity assist the delta-vee cost of

getting there is not all that great

like the galileo spacecraft did' date=' you can do a close flyby of J

and then slingshot with the other moons and arrive

at Callisto with almost no fuel burned

(after the main burn at earth for transfer orbit)

mars is dry and does not have these advantages

people on Callisto could use nuclear power to melt tunnels

into the ice and create under-ice habitats

    and extract chemicals and stuff

the jovian moons are a nice system--eventually a good place to live

Bush was a turkey to say go to the moon and mars[/quote']

I would live in an "eaton center" on Mercury.

It has all the energy we need and a good gravity,

    it's like that of Mars.

It has a year about two monthes therefore it would

can be a good base for interplanetary travels.

It hasn't winds therefore it's more sure than Mars,

and we can make experiments about nuclear fusion

without air for interplanetary travels.

  4. yub yub jdurg... full marks in the nitrogren and oxygen cycle test!

potential difference (pd) and voltage has nothing to do with electrolysis. electrolysis happens when there is a flow of electrons aka current. whilst current normally (not always) causes a pd it is still the current and not the pd which makes electrolysis happen.

during ionization I think there is a flow of electrons aka current.

If it is then can the water be ionized and how the water is ionized? :)

  5. Do you believe cold fusion can really be achieved or is it just a case of high hopes? I know a few have tried to prove it and now have given up.

Maybe it's a only microscopic..fission-fusion nuclear reaction because are always required elements with an high density...........

  6. Does matter not convert to energy when it moves at the speed of light?

    It's my first post......

    I think:

E=mc^2 is the limit of the energy that m(I think it is the first mass).....can give.

E=m(v)v^2/2 is an energy that enhances with the speed.

When m(v)v^2/2 = mc^2 the speed can enhance anymore.:mad:
