My turn to get a word wrong - lol.

Moi could have been one of about three boisterous young ladies. I'm sure quite a lot of men's ears pricked up at the time! Quite educational!

I don't think either of us has caused offence. If you suspect someone is annoyed or upset you can go to their profile and see if they have left a comment on their "about me " tab.

      Xittenn

Yes, I am working on a Scientific Computing Engine where users can develop models in a 3D working environment . . . I also have a game design diploma and have created sample games. My title project was a concept called Roz: New Mexico.

I'm also working on a Double Major in Math and Comp-Sci, not to be repeating that all over the place . . .

Well, I have to show my ignorance-particularly as I like fish! So it's no and no! I guess I lead a simple life where food is concerned and rarely ,for example, have starters. I've always seen caviar as a luxury that we could do without.

    3. Xittenn

      Xittenn

Beluga caviar is non sustainable and is something that people should generally avoid. I don't see caviar from sustainable sources as a problem.

    4. Joatmon

      Joatmon

Nor do I. The "we" I used meant my wife and I. We can do without it as it's rather expensive.

I didn't know anything about CBT until I just looked it up. It seems to have very little to do with stupidity and a lot do do with falsely held comparisons between yourself and the world. This makes sense because anyone who has seen your contributions to the forum knows you are highly intelligent. You might consider making a questionnaire that allows other people to grade their anxieties about a range of topics. You may find that your thoughts are more normal than you think.

    4. Joatmon

      Joatmon

I think I may have misunderstood. Now who's feeling stupid?! Anyway, the "highly intelligent" definitely stands! In science, apparently, cognition is more about mental processes than anxiety.

      Vinny Gambini: What?

Judge Chamberlain Haller: Uh... did you say 'yutes'?

That would be interesting and challenging at the same time. I would suppose that the easiest automaton musician to create would be the drummer. You can use drum triggers to monitor which drum / symbol was hit to provide feedback into the system. However, it would be a lot harder to create automata that can play stringed instruments. Not only would you have to construct a hand that could apply pressure to the strings, but also synchronize the other hand for bowing / plucking the strings. I...

I do too, but I'm just at pre-calc, that's like saying I like cooking when all I know how to make is cereal. So we'll just have to see, when it comes to me. xD

You'll get there, be patient with it, math is something you take your time with to get to know. Some people absorb it instantly but at the same time I think that these people tend to miss a lot of subtleties. Time spent is what will take you to where you are a master of the subject. I've had a lot of time to learn maths and I am so excited to go over much of it again because I will learn so much more the second and third and fourth time through.

I suppose we must always think of the future as made of possibilities. Although we can plan towards making the possibilities strong, we can never make them certain.

Seeing a certain someones post I feel really bad for being open about my feelings online. I am the same way with people here as I am in real life. When I do express my faults outwardly people seem to feel more comfortable about talking about themselves with me. This usually leads to some pretty interesting conversations. This might not be such a great idea here . . . but then I feel like I have to close myself off. I really wish I could find a good mix where I don't feel ...
