I have a couple of students on board for a new campaign . . . it's called cure my stupidity 2015. We are pre-planning the campaign in hopes of being able to perform up to generalized global campaign standards. The goal, to abolish my stupidity once and for all!

I didn't know anything about CBT until I just looked it up. It seems to have very little to do with stupidity and a lot do do with falsely held comparisons between yourself and the world. This makes sense because anyone who has seen your contributions to the forum knows you are highly intelligent. You might consider making a questionnaire that allows other people to grade their anxieties about a range of topics. You may find that your thoughts are more normal than you think.

Thought you might have been referencing the movie My Cousin Vinny. Great movie!!
Vinny Gambini: It is possible that the two yutes...
Judge Chamberlain Haller: ...Ah, the two what? Uh... uh, what was that word?
Vinny Gambini: Uh... what word?
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Two what?
Vinny Gambini: What?
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Uh... did you say 'yutes'?
Vinny Gambini: Yeah, two yutes.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: What is a yute?

That would be interesting and challenging at the same time. I would suppose that the easiest automaton musician to create would be the drummer. You can use drum triggers to monitor which drum / symbol was hit to provide feedback into the system. However, it would be a lot harder to create automata that can play stringed instruments. Not only would you have to construct a hand that could apply pressure to the strings, but also synchronize the other hand for bowing / plucking the strings. I...

Transferring to double major math and comp sci at another school. . . . they offer a graduate in math with focus on scientific computing. Fits well with my historical endeavours, I guess I can be a team player and work on problems from an analyst position.

You'll get there, be patient with it, math is something you take your time with to get to know. Some people absorb it instantly but at the same time I think that these people tend to miss a lot of subtleties. Time spent is what will take you to where you are a master of the subject. I've had a lot of time to learn maths and I am so excited to go over much of it again because I will learn so much more the second and third and fourth time through.

36 hours until first term completion. The first thing I will do is buy a bottle of wine get pissed and go on a code-a-thon. I hope to at the very least do an overview of the 'self generating darrieus windmill' and why we don't use the earths magnetic field in these forms of generators during my 12 days off.

All these science spheres are made of asbestos by the way, keeps out the rats. Let us know if you feel a shortness of breath, a persistent dry cough, or your heart stopping. Because that's not part of the test, that's asbestos. Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show a median latency of 44.6 years, so if you're thirty or older you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of Canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of scien...

I was told to stop trying to predict the future today. I responded "I do not try to predict the future, I assign probabilities to an n dimmensional array of pathways . . . "

Seeing a certain someones post I feel really bad for being open about my feelings online. I am the same way with people here as I am in real life. When I do express my faults outwardly people seem to feel more comfortable about talking about themselves with me. This usually leads to some pretty interesting conversations. This might not be such a great idea here . . . but then I feel like I have to close myself off. I really wish I could find a good mix where I don't feel ...

I notice this thread disappeared from the home page shortly after my post. I hope you didn't think I was taking the Mickey. Your mention of Scottish accent and haggis brought to mind Rabbie Burns Scottish poem "Address to a Haggis". I thought it might be a bit of fun. As you know, I have a rather strange sense of humour!
