  1. I have found time to edit and clarify my previous post, if you wish to reread. The quote attributed to WWI President Woodrow Wilson "Anyone who studies the Bible..." I found in a Jehovah's Witnesses publication. He may have meant "seriously study" and "in due time". Such is the case for me. Some of the books, based on the Edgar Cayce readings, gave information about Woodrow consulting Edgar seeking a means of resolving WWI and issues of The Central Powers of Europe. Woodrow Wilson's "Fourteen Point Plan" was a result, and may be researched on the net. When Woodrow was asked if he believed Edgar Cayce to be a real psychic, Woodrow said "No man is that good a liar." Of course, others claim he was a fraud. He was investigated, as recounted in the biography "There Is A River", and the agent came away saying that Cayce was for real, based on the witnessed evidence. I have studied his work in great depth and share Woodrow's opinion. If you seek proof of the divinity and reality of Jesus, Cayce's work is possibly the best available evidence. One must also consider the Jewish people, who include Einstein and Newton. The very existence of the Jews, and of Christianity and its influence over two thousand years, is difficult to explain unless the Bible and Jesus are the truth on some level of significance. Obviously, the first chapters of Genesis, and Revelation are largely symbolic, and conceal profound significance decoded. Such are available from ARE books or the DVD collection. Cayce supplied 22 psychic discourses on the Revelation, which are unparalleled and a miraculous exposition from a trance state. For fear of losing you, I will answer questions simply from here, if you like.
  2. I am one who has studied tertiary agriculture, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, philosophy of science. psychology, engineering subjects, and computer science. After all that I have worked as a computer programmer. I finally decided on teaching and finding it was nothing like the movies, found myself preferring manual work on the railways of sunny Queensland. My mind freed to follow my own interests and build on this past, my interests have turned to religions, mysticism, astronomy, palaeontology, and politics. My background was Christian, and after finding no answers to questions, decided to read the Bible, determining that the prelates of religion didn't study or understand it, on the basis of inconsistencies from the orthodox belief system - what Jesus was referring to in the Sermon on The Mount and elsewhere, saying such things to the Pharisees (purported believers) and Sadducees (atheists) as "by your tradition you have rendered the law of nil effect." This type of experience is in all likelihood the reason for the exodus from Christianity. Its history in "The Great Controversy" - Ellen White (downloadable PDF) is one of perversion and exploitation, until the reformation. Somehow I innately believed the Bible was okay if properly interpreted, and reading it has confirmed this somewhat, but to escape the pollution is difficult. It was achieved for me when, studying the most ancient belief system, Egyptian, researching the Great Pyramid, and thereby discovering Edgar Cayce, all questions concerning the Bible were answered satisfactorily on the basis of my background. Like Woodrow Wilson, I believe that "Anyone who studies the Bible will know that it is God's word" and concerning Edgar Cayce that "No man is that good a liar." The consistent belief system is however "Hermetic Philosophy", roughly "All is mind" (Psalm 90). Anything that is consistent with "Therefore, whatsoever ye would that another should do unto you, do ye even so unto them, for this is the whole law and the prophets." (Matthew 7 KJV) is not evil. Don't be deceived, some of our greatest scientists (Einstein, Newton) do not see contradiction between religion or the occult and science, all rightly interpreted. The belief system expounded by the Edgar Cayce Readings (available on DVD, and the basis of many books from the Association of Research and Enlightenment (ARE)) is complex and beyond most of contemporary Christianity. The text of his readings is 20x the Bible and Apocrypha, produced over 40 years as "The Sleeping Prophet" (1877 - 1945), with the help of stenographer Gladys Davis, meticulously filed with follow up research from people helped by his work. I believe that he is a part of that prophesied in the last chapter of Daniel KJV, from which Jesus quoted.
  3. It is the effects of a Super-intellect that prove existence by the results, which organises the galaxies, planets, life-forms, and intellects that emerge from chaos into multiplicities of sentient and sapient entities, evolving their own identities from outer darkness to unimaginable glories through their fates, which are the results of laws as real as any of your microscopic realisations of chemistry, physics, etc. but currently lampooned by fools with a little knowledge and no understanding under names like Astrology. However, the benefactors that supplied you with science are deemed sane only as far as their limited intelligence (meaning as in CIA) allows. Likewise it is the effects of these laws, science + religion + occult - bullshit from oppressors, that sent One Entity to such glories, to educate the Children of the Law of One, to become a martyr, because He walked it like He talked it, "Fear not those who can kill the body, and thereafter can do nothing further to you. Fear Him rather who can cast BOTH BODY AND SOUL into hell", a death as prophesied in Psalm 22 by David in great detail, and quoted on the cross by him, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me...", a psalm which encapsulates His philosophy when he prayed "Abba Father, take this cup away from me, for all things are possible unto Thee. But Thy will, not mine be done." Have not the enemy learned very well to frame someone as a traitor, a criminal, or a lunatic, but to never! never!, never! create a martyr. Why is that, do you think? Because people have not forgotten those who became martyrs, like Mahatma Ghandi and Martin Luther King, and their very words echo down the ages, just like Jesus' words do. Today we are more righteous because men from Einstein to Martin Luthor King risked disdain and death to teach Americans that they were racists, and today we all WANT to be that little bit more righteous, at lest with lip-service, or with sealed lips. But the same influences are being marshalled by whom, and for what? So that you loose some of the bands or righteousness with regard to unbridled gain by some + the devil take the hindmost for others? But you still think that knowledge may only be obtained out of a test tube, some instruments, a graph and some equations? The knowledge of the psyche is beyond your methods, but the ancients knew about the tree of life, the relationship between the chakras and the planets, and personified the elements of PSYCHE-ology as Aphrodite (Venus), Aries (Mars), Zeus (Jupiter) and Hephaestus (Pluto - note: not even known yet), to adorn children's minds in practical ways to understand their world and their culture. To this you can only cast ridicule? Who's the fool here, and who's talking out of the wrong end of their alimentary canal? To Ten Oz: To answer your question concerning evidence - Science takes evidence and generalises from it, in the form of effects. From these effects, an hypothesis is inferred as to the cause(s). To test the hypothesis, predictions are made, and either anomalies or confirmations will result, which respectively falsify or support the hypotheses, but can never verify the hypothesis as unequivocally true. In short it seeks to hypothesize causes for effects. We have in no uncertain terms a plethora of effects, for which a more than reasonable hypothesis is that Jesus existed. Short of witnessing the individual, more is impossible over sufficient time. Science is only struggling for explanations concerning Jesus, expansion tectonics, a steady state universe, fundamental particles, evolution, psychology and astrology, and is embarrassed that its methods and models are very limited. It would rather masquerade as shining sanity, and suffers an extreme case of multiple personalities as is, without further contortion to escape its present bounds. Your historicity is setting limits using such "causes and effects" which, in reality, would not only decimate most of history, but even more of mainstream science. I think that the masked but real reason for this requirement is to implicitly disqualify any belief in miracles, and possibly stemming from the very invention of the word "historicity" historically. For this reason I have started a thread on "Did Jesus Raise Lasareth (sic) ..." but there are no takers willing to be so blatant without also being flippant. Ho hum. One more time on Cayce, if you can bear with me, he did say that to believe in such things, it would be necessary to witness a miracle, but the soul that did, and thus believed, would not be able to convince another. His uncle (from memory) could make broomsticks dance, but knew well that it was wrong to perform such tricks to force belief in the supernatural. Likewise, Jesus would give no sign to the Pharisees, except for his resurrection from death (in other words), which in the end they did accept, admonishing opposition to the rising Christianity, because they may well be opposing God Himself so doing (Act of the Apostles), and as such could not succeed. Thomas was told "More blessed are they who have not seen and yet believe." This may well mean that the soul unworthy of this knowledge simply can't. One's "faith" is an entire belief system, a way of life, and singularity of purpose from which one cannot be moved (Psalms 15 & 46 KJV).
  4. Thanks for that Bender and Handy Andy, I needed a good belly laugh. What's really funny is that you must have already returned from Groundhog Day x n to have studied through all the sources of information I have offered, and come to the realisation that: 1. Information of that amount, some spanning from before recorded history, some coming from psychic sources, and some found in every hotel room since King James meticulously provided the Gospel, according to prophecy back to Moses, and even Abraham, to be preached as a blessing to all nations, forming a consistent collection of data, with less probability than a living bacterial cell being created by shaking up sterile cosmic dust in a test tube the size of planet earth, and in 4.6 thousand million years creating an animal that can hold a conversation... 2. Civilisation, since Jesus Christ, has absorbed one high moral platform after another from despotic tyrants, assembling his armies to realise his imperialistic designs for two thousand years, is the cause of today's global community emerging from Roman "Might is right" throughout the centuries before, to make selfless service an ideal to mankind to realise the present, according to Psalm 110 by King David, so that you and I can even have this conversation on computers across the globe... proves that Jesus never existed, nor did that superstition ever benefit mankind in learning the value of truth, justice and freedom, nor place his own self destruction in his hands, as an alternative offered by lies, injustice and bondage. Eternal life, or reincarnation, includes Karma. Which ignorant swine or greedy dog wants to believe both? How true then is "Give not that which is holy unto dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn again, and rend you." Or...live in the present, have fun, swear there ain't no heaven, and pray there ain't no hell.
  5. Aristotlian science then is only concerned with what is seen under the microscope and in the moment, and time alone will obliterate every fact from existence. It is not applicable outside the laboratory, as it would cripple the superstitious but functional human being, and turn him into a bureaucratic automaton like R2D2 with the potential of Robocop's glitchy predecessor, by accident or design. It would explain the stumbling of science in Astronomy (many "...an area of active research...") and Psychology (wisdom is justified by its children + people aren't getting any sweeter, but rather the contrary). The method has removed black cats and walking under ladders, except for tripping over cats and wearing paint or hammers, but completely misinterpreted alchemy, and completely removed even Albert Einstein's (and Spinosa's) God and Fred Hoyle's Superintellect as responsible for creation. Science has deemed Creation a complete accident, from possibly as little as six fundamental particles and a system of laws = behaviour, up to the remarkable molecule DNA inherent to all life on Earth. What is the probability of even the simplest known DNA (other than parasitic and devolved viruses) assembling itself even without necessary baggage to survive in any suitable environment? These are the thoughts of a person who has the gift of "three parts of the philosophy of the whole World" - One Thing - the first cause and irreducible reality, consciousness or spirit - in totality, God. Does science have any better explanation for consciousness? None I have seen make any sense at all. And I believe that the principles of science include "Two theories that cannot be distinguished by different experimental results are in fact equivalent." This applies to the objective universe, and its subjective manifestation by the senses as some special kind of psychic phenomenon = Hermetic Philosophy (Psalm 90 KJV). And this last explains normality (consistent causes and effects = current science) and miracles (God's hand in the fates of Mankind = superstition?). Stephen Gould, in "The Book of Life" (Palaeontology), which returned to print after my publicising it on Science Forums, was a devout atheist by all accounts, and overtones emerge throughout the treatise. He dodges the DNA problem saying that the probability of assembly is simply not known. I can interpret the same evidence otherwise. Even the theories! With God's hand, to create the Astrological influence of the passions of the flesh, the Permian extinction was caused by "the throwing off of the moon" (Cayce). Echo's of this,as perhaps myth incorporating alchemaic symbolism akin the The Revelation KJV, may be found in the second book of "The Divine Pymander". Likewise, the "One Thing", spirit, is from Hermes' "Philosophers [Touch] Stone", a profound piece of Hermetic or Alchemaic writing. http://sourcebooks.fordham.edu/basis/const2.asp The above link spells out the departure of contemporary Christianity from consistency, Hermetic Philosopy, and possibly the Jewish belief system of the Old Testament. While Jesus stated plainly that no jot or tittle will depart from the "law and the Prophets" until all is fulfilled, embarrassment of a corrupting church hierarchy (begun already as recounted in John's Third Epistle, against his own authority) may have produced this knee-jerk. The Egyptian Christianity, steeped in mysticism, became, with Heiroglyphics, outlawed. I believe that this spawned the Masons and the Gypsies, both of which sport the Tarot in their philosophies. This may well be an Alchemaic encryption of the Chapters of the Revelation encoding, with the Fool = Chapter 1, and the World = Chapter 22, to prevent burning at the stake. Cayce says that the simplification of Christianity was for transmission to the masses, and for advantage due to the submerged knowledge. He also said that the Children of Belial (the Devil) tend to bind rather than loose the truth. Consistency is my only yardstick. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_Tablet This ancient document is the original source of the "Philosopher's Stone", said to have been given to Abraham by Hermes (Melchizedek KJV) as a touch stone of all wisdom. To my mind it symbolically describes God, and states that this understanding is the basis of true philosophy. Again, Hermes is one of the incarnations of the Christ "whose goings forth are from time immemorial" from the prophecy of his birth in Bethlehem, used to inform Herod by the Pharisees, and leading to the slaughter of children there.
  6. To Ten Oz: interesting links. My take would be that the original would in all likelihood, be the Church of the Holy Sepulchre location. Cayce actually gave from a reading that mass acceptance of his work would require official acceptance. This would have been the case, I think, with Constantine's acceptance of the tide brought in by Jesus' crucifixion. In all truth, we can only attribute a probability to such things as correct, and present hypothetical bases as such, together with alternatives. The idea of Mainstream as absolute in any sense but the current official line is taking liberties. To use the term "crackpot" against the support of alternatives of reasonable likelihood is abusive and unreasonable, unless incontrovertible contradictions actually exist. This, of course, excludes the primal hypotheses themselves, as they are only inferred from evidence. In the words of Stephen Gould, "A wealth of evidence does not necessarily settle matters, when human ingenuity is interpreting the facts." , a conclusion reached after examining five theories explaining the Permian Extinction, all of which harbour anomalies. Change, however is historically resisted once a paradigm establishes.
  7. John Cuthber, you could be discrediting the work of a scientist who has possibly cracked physics unawares, but for the knowledge of antimatter, with the knowledge of its completion in short order after his death forced underground. One scientist recently said "You know science is in crisis when they start taking about decomposing dark matter." Hubble learned from Einstein that the universe was expanding. Do you not think Einstein would have concocted such an hypothesis if it were feasible. On the flip side, finance now controls everything down to the education and opinions of the herd by every means possible. For the exact same reasons, politicians are not the only ones telling lies and grasping for a piece of the action. Einstein was a conspiracy theorist. Thomas Jefferson was a conspiracy theorist. We are encouraged to bleat "conspiracy theorist" because it's insanity? Its plain common sense. Likewise and in all likelihood, Einstein cracked physics (God's thoughts), but for details of its manifestations, with one piece of the jigsaw gone, the antiproton and thus antimatter. Was physics completed thereafter in short order? Would the information be submerged in short order by every means imaginable for national security reasons? It would explain the systematic discounting of our greatest physicist. Truth, justice and liberty serves the herd, not the oppressor. So likewise... Edgar Cayce dedicated his life to the use of his gift to heal. He became famous and a celebrated source of health information, all of which is recorded, together with follow up information. After 20 years, he was prompted to venture into past life causes of human misery. William Shakespeare and his entourage could not have concocted a more consistent volume of work if they had created one long story combining all the plays, and honed it for 20 years. Cayce closed his eyes, was given the information, and gave a reading which often surprised himself when he read it. Can those who walk a crooked path be friends of truth, justice and liberty. Can they even speak the truth. "There is a River", and its post requisite "Memoires of a Seer" offer many illustrations of Cayce's opposition in his own lifetime, from less than scrupulous authorities (doctors, judges, etc). You need to ask yourself who the real frauds are. So returning to the story of Jesus, we have a life that fell quickly, with fame, into crossed purposes with authorities of his day. "I am the way, the truth and the life" does nor ring bells or gain any sympathy from many of those who would be authorities, but from the "herd" that has become the "prey", time may well raise a martyr with a message, like Che (Ernisto) Guevara, Mahatma Ghandi, and such. Those with much to hide do not wish be thrown into relief against righteousness, and already have a vested interest in destroying the righteous. How popular do you think Cayce was in his day, confronting those doctors who knew very well that he could see their thoughts, and recount their activities. Such a one was Jesus, and much more.
  8. Here's what constitutes proof to me. Curious about the effects of political self interest and influence that divides national philosophies toward murder and mayhem, I decided to determine the most ancient belief system known...ancient Egyptian. A comprehensive study of E.A. Wallace-Budge works revealed no knowledge of the Great Pyramid or Sphinx, besides some maintenance, and a vague reference in Chapter LXIV of "The Book of the Dead". Zeroing this I found information about world wide unattributed artefacts. One such book, "The Pyramid Odyssey" by William Fix spoke of "The Sleeping Prophet" and Mark Leyner's "The Egyptian Heritage" based on the Edgar Cayce readings. That book was to me the first "evidence" of the actual existence of Jesus Christ, the reality of the Bible as the Word and Work of God, and the influence of the Christ soul from time immemorial as the embodiment of legendary Osiris and God of the Dead (incarnates evolving through the zodiacal influences of astrology and His Shepherd (the meaning of Pymander)). Like Woodrow Wilson I have come to believe that "No man (Cayce) is that good a liar" and that the Bible is true on the correctly elucidated levels of significance, through cross correlation. On the flipside, it is not the purpose of God to force mankind into the fold, being a power that would terrify those who yet cannot escape wickedness through soul-evolutionary infancy or wilful retardation. So, not only are artifacts of Jesus removed from the earth, but another such, Moses, is cited in Jude, and Elijah (Elias NT) ascended in a chariot of fire, to return as John the Baptist. Enoch, seventh from Adan, was not for God took him and returns as Melchizedek (Melchisedec NT, Hermes, the Christ) to simpliy accomplished the establishment of the Essenes by manifesting from the perfected state as recorded in Hebrews, before dropping the veil and beginning a series of lives, and establishing religions, during this, the fourth age marked by the Mystery of the Ages, the Sphinx. This material, far flung as it is, is too internally consistent to my mind to be fabrication.
  9. Then proof to you and I are not the same thing. It must retreat into Boolean logic and mathematics, to be applied to software, number crunching and deductions from axioms or hypotheses of science. Real world entities are beyond such proof, as we only deal with abstractions and generalisations concerning composite entities, where other attributes must coexist. Everyone's world view, then is a personal collage of various colours, and ghostly shapes dependent on their conscious material life experience. Black and white do not exist.
  10. "1 - Atlantis is said to have been a physical place. Finding that place, geological evidence of where such a place was, or artifacts from that place is the best evidence. That is it. Some historical figure provided a 2nd or 3rd hand account isn't best evidence of a physical place. "2 - The existence of a religion isn't proof of a religion's history of teachings. Scientology exists but that doesn't put the onus on me or any other non Scientology follower to disprove anything. Mormons exist and have tens of millions of followers all over the world. That doesn't mean the onus is on me to prove Joseph Smith didn't speak to a golden salamander and that Jesus didn't come to North America. Many realigions have made up origins. The existence of a religion doesn't prove a religions teachings." I can satisfy your requirement, but I doubt you really have an interest of settling the question of Atlantis in the affirmative. As for the Book of Mormon, and the claims made concerning Jose Smith, I have read the entire book. It bears no resemblance on many levels to the Bible, except for the practically verbatim plagiarism of the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew's account, and a few other direct one liners likewise. Most of it sounds like Billy Graham soap boxing on Lysergic Acid Diethylamide transcribed from tape. Mormon and Nephi are purported to have become perfected, while Jesus right and left hand (Moses and Elija) are the Bible's closest contenders for such honours. Then the division of the book is fairly random, while the Bible is organised as HISTORY, LITERARY, PROPHECY, GOSPELS and EPISTLES, culminating in the REVELATION of John the Beloved disciple. This last book reveals mysteries using as symbolism a great deal of preceding text, which is thus a prerequisite. Edgar Cayce produced 22 psychic discourses on its interpretation which requires a knowledge of the endocrine system of the human body and more to comprehend. Is it clear yet that knowledge may have sources yet to be accepted by Aristotlian Science? If you are prepared to concede validity, I will present your requirement concerning Atlantis and more.
  11. Well...the words of our Lord's Prayer, "Our Father, which art in Heaven..." Matthew 6:9 KJV, while there are several instances of "...your Father which is in Heaven...", while "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8 all but commences the three chapters called "The Sermon on the Mount", a title which heads a very mystical chapter out of 17 in "The Divine Pymander of Hermes" of unknown and very great antiquity. The 64th chapter of the book of the dead is believed to be the oldest, starts with reciting the readers attribute of reincarnation, mentions the Pyramid as being the centre of the earth's land mass, and was considered to be the chapter which suffices the soul as would all the chapters, for admission to eternal life. For the Bible, such an appellation may even fit the Sermon on the Mount, with regard especially to conducting one's life to minimise regrets. Clear across the eons the same bell chimes, commemorating the gavel, ringing the capstone of gold upon the Great Pyramid of Giza. With Hermes, the architect, and Ra the autonomous High Priest and Ruler of Egypt, 12,500 years ago. Standing as a time capsule, to confound the enemies of truth. Its was constructed as a prophecy in stone, depicting the spiritual development throughout the coming age. Why hasn't Mark Leyner's "The Egyptian Heritage" been made into a movie, like Conan the Barbarian or Troy? I wonder...
  12. "'If historicity is, as such, a determinant of truth, Plato's Critias and Timaeus proves Atlantis existed, ' "In that case the Hobbits exist. ":Cayce is genereally regarded as a self-serving fraud. "Stating properties for Jesus in a thread about whether or not he exists is a logical fallacy called begging the question." Let's talk about fallacies then. This will take some time, so bear with me until all edits are complete. Einstein studied the Talmud and the Bible, by his own words, and did not dismiss the histories, but in fact, claimed the luminous figure of the Nazarene could not be the work of any phrase-monger, and that Christianity cannot be dismissed with any "bon mot". Bon mots won't do, unless you consider yourselves geniuses on a par to contradict him. This genius regards the Bible as history. The likes of Stalin, with vested interests, contradict him. Hitler styled labels like "soap boxing" are used to shut down opposition, but bon mots fly like plague locusts, and that's scientific? Concerning the properties of Jesus, an absolute philosophical genius whose existence should be questioned like many lesser philosophers more ancient, with no less historical support; Einstein claimed that Jesus words, and those of the prophets of old, would heal all the social ills of humanity (stripped of additions by priests). Meanwhile, the prophets mentioned predicted Jesus back to Moses, whose nation of slaves now manage the economy of the "Free World", as prophecied in Genesis to Abraham. It seems that philosophers who teach unselfishness are arbitrarily deemed non-history! Why might that be, Geniuses? Concerning Hobbits - JRR Tolkein, in a treatise on "Fairy" (fairy tales and mythology), states that fairy illustrates life's lessons, morality and consequences (eg "Troy" now discovered and unclaimed myth after Cayce gave past life readings in the Trojan war, including his own). Concerning the Bible, TRR Tolkein says that this is fairy made reality, in line with Edgar Cayce's claim that some of scripture is literal, metaphysical, and spiritual at the same time. Concerning Edgar Cayce as a self-serving fraud, he once enquired of his own readings how to secure himself financially, and received a quote from the Bible, which he read once each year of his life. "My grace is sufficient unto thee." At need, money and resources found him, enough to build a hospital. In return, he provided readings to his benefactor, a Jewish Stockbroker, that produced the most extensive collection, the 900 series, toward the end of his life. The series is of great interest to serious students of the occult. "Evidence regarding the existence of Atlantis would be geological and not non contemporary work of a philosopher referencing a time long ago. In the absence of geoligical evidence contemporary artifacts of art, literature, carpntry, etc produced by those who had lived on Atlantis would be the next best thing." Possibly one of the best sources, if you can find a copy, is a book simply called "Atlantis" by Charles Berlitz. He systematically examines Plato's "Critias and Timaeus", the history of Atlantis denied by Artstotle the Imperialist slaver, and presents enough supporting evidence from around the globe to sink the Bismarck. "For Jesus the best evidence would be something writen or built carpentry that could be linked to his hands directly or a body/burial site. Next best would be contemporary artifacts of art, literature, carpntry, etc produced by those who had interactions with Jesus. After that any contemporary reference regardless of degrees of separation would be better than nothing at all. In this case, evidence of Jesus, nothing contemporary exists. The New Testement is not contemporary to Jesus and contains no first hand accounts." Do such things exist for philosophers who do not preach "All you need is love." On the contrary, the onus is on those who deny Jesus, to explain the Jews, and the Vatican, or at least all the manifestations of Christianity all over planet Earth, and throughout whatever history has not offended the exploiters of human resources across the same domain. You could start another thread and call it "Where did the Jews come from, and how did that affect so much influence on mankind?", or "How did Christianity emerge to achieve the moral impact that created the Present out of Roman Debauchery", or even "Why Has Mankind Cast God Behind His Back?" My personal take on this last is that only life (even many lives) can advance the soul from gratifying its senses and its ego, and finding its "faith", interpreted "extensive concept of God's Power and Purposes"). This road we must all eventually find as no soul can continue to defy its Maker. The end result is none other than to become more Christlike, a condition which was known to the ancient Egyptian as producing the Sahu, the Glorified Body and Soul combined, at one with the Creator, and "dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto (courtesy Einstein); which no man has seen or can see, ..." echoing through the centuries in 1 Timothy 6:16. This answer to your claim that mortal remains are required is without any "faith", of course, impossible to comprehend, even by Roman Catholics if they do not read the Bible ("every word from the mouth of God"), and respond to its "goads and nails". It must be clear that, by accepting constraints from questionable authorities (which at times were Popes), these sorts of questions simply cannot be answered. Also that I do not operate on "blind faith". In the end, we can only know that all our "truths" are consistent, as based on correct hypotheses, however far flung, and no more.
  13. If historicity is, as such, a determinant of truth, Plato's Critias and Timaeus proves Atlantis existed, and the Bible that Jesus walked in the time of Tiberius Caesar. But authorities arbitrarily, to a greater or lesser extent, choose between conflicting histories (eg Saint Theodora) and others flatly deny history as valid, often with transparent motives (eg The imperialist and slaver Aristotle concerning Plato). There are those who currently hold the Bible to be myth while others hold that it is entirely literal, and the Psychic Edgar Cayce says it is variously to be interpreted as literal, metaphysical, and spiritual, and in places all three at once). "Blind faith in authority is the worst enemy of truth" according to Einstein. Some on this forum say that Einstein is no authority. Others that the argument from authority is invalid. Ultimately, I guess, each of us has to gather as much information as possible to decide for themselves on issues they consider important, and then hope that no relevant information has been missed. At the very least, we must be certain that the authority we trust is not a self appointed one with ulterior motives. I think Jesus qualifies beyond doubt as an authority that can be trusted, and that Einstein believes likewise and is qualified to make that judgement.
  14. In more recent times, phenomena which suggest that God does exist, indeed must exist, include Rasputin, Patience Worth and Edgar Cayce. Rasputin was a healer of a capacity that made it impossible to poison him and more, giving comfort to the Czar's family before the dynasty was (almost) exterminated, and healing Alexi who suffered extreme haemophilia up to that time. His daughter wrote his biography, which shares elements of Edgar Cayce's life. These include seeing an angel in response to prayer, and making prophecies. Rasputin's healing powers were such than he survived extreme poisoning and shooting, and had to be drowned in a bag in the river. This was the work of grey suited grafters selling out to foreign corporations and precipitating extreme poverty, and revolution. Einstein's letters to Russian Scientists concerning the UN may be found in "Ideas and Opinions", where their replies recall the mistrust generated by such activity. Edgar Cayce was a psychic who used such information to heal for twenty years, and who's story was published in the New York Times. This brought letters from around the US, and Cayce would diagnose and prescribe across any distance in a trance state. Arthur Lammers sought him out for information on occult matters, which thereafter produced past life readings of impossible complexity and consistency back to Atlantis. The Egyptologist Mark Leyner compiled "The Egyptian Heritage" from many such readings, recounting the time of the construction of the Great Pyramid. Thomas Sargue produced a biography of Edgar Cayce called "There Is A River", named from Psalms 46, where Edgar Cayce's finger landed after the shock received from Lammers' enquiry. The information was quite at variance with his Southern US Baptist belief system. A DVD collection of his reading is available, and in text format is 20 times larger than The Bible and Apocrypha KJV. Woodrow Wilson consulted Cayce to settle WWI, the result being the 14 Point Plan presented to the Central Powers. Previously President of Princeton University, he said of Edgar Cayce that "No man is that good a liar". Patience Worth was a Ghost Writer contacted by OUIJA board, who eventually gave her host, Pearl Curran, the ability to perform "automatic writing". Her literary output includes a book called "The Sorry Tale" about the time of Tiberius Caesar and Jesus. She wrote using natural symbolism and a very finite 15th century English vocabulary. Expressing concepts and situations that astounded the literary community of her day, she used words correctly where meanings have changed since. At impossible speed she could construct a poem on any given subject instantaneously, which literary figures said were of a quality that would take them a whole day. When a chapter of a book she composed was lost, she reproduced it verbatim. Her works are held by the Missouri Historical Society. The narrative about Rome and Jerusalem, which appears to recount a past life as the central character Thia, contains information which would stun Coleen McCullock. All these phenomena, and Albert Einstein with his E=mc^2 (to me, all matter is composed of energy as the power of God), happened about the same time as a academic fraternity was taking active measures against Psychology tolerating mysticism around 1900. The simultaneous appearance of all four at this critical time recalls the prophecies in the book of Daniel, especially the last chapter, from which Jesus quoted concerning "the abomination of desolation". The computer and the internet seem to be prophecied just prior as "a god of forces, to divide the land for gain and rule over many." We seem to have, as described in the Sermon on the Mount, "seek and you will find, ask and you will receive, knock and it will be opened unto you." with the converse also the case.
  15. So we wind up with a situation where a tremendous amount of research is necessary to even form an opinion, unless we wish to opt for ignorance or accept prejudice without adequate research. King Solomon, in Acclesiates 12:10-11 KJV, is recorded as writing: "The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. "The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd." He concludes, thus, that upon discerning sources of wisdom, he noticed that all were telling the same story, and from a single source. I have found the same in a great variety sources which, by their nature, tend to instruct men toward humane works, and become held to be sacred works. They also tend to revere a supreme intellect and power which is fatherly as loving all of mankind and desiring consideration for his children as such. The occult then, becomes the study of the elements of creation, law and fate, which shepherd the flock throughout time. Science deals with a very earthy portion, the senses, and what is directly revealed thus. In this regard, Einstein has stated that science cannot determine whether these are a psychic phenomenon, or whether their object possess independent existence. But for such a power it is quite possible that the soul must seek, learn and evolve on its way to perceiving God's reality. It may be that such reality is very detrimental to an unprepared psyche, which Jesus and John the Baptist (not the author) taught in several ways, including that which is given in John Chapter 3. It seems to strongly indicate that such a reality is precluded from the psyche which is evil because the self-condemnation would be more than it can accept, that the soul may evolve or devolve from body to body, and that the gift of eternal life consists of the condition that could not exist without God, namely that the soul lives on, and our heavens and hells are of our own making from past activity but toward more fulfilling lives. Such philosophy, as stated by Solomon, seems common to sources of wisdom, as though it were from the same author. "The Divine Pymander of Hermes" could be our most ancient such work, and its philosophy is both profound, and entirely consistent with the Bible KJV (without superimposed orthodoxies against which Jesus warns in Matthew Chapters 5-7 "Sermon on the Mount"). A PDF may be downloaded. I have found such consistency throughout the scriptures of many religions and philosophies. Ellen White, in "The Great Controversy", likewise PDF downloadable, gives the history of the development and also the corruption and exploitation of Christianity since about 1000AD to the reformation, about the time when Nicolo Macheoveli wrote a threatise on Worldly Power in response to the ruthlessness of Pope Alexander VI.
  16. Historical reality means what? What has actually happened, or what has been recorded, or which version has become official? There are two histories of Saint Theodora, who lived a life like Evita Peron, to the control of the Empire through the control of her hand puppet Justinian Caesar. She affected the compilation of the Fifteen Anathemas Against The Doctrines Of Origen in 553AD, outlawing occult interpretations, and making herself a Saint under the new philosophy. The official version, as per normal, claims that the deposed Pope, by her hand, had an axe to grind. One wonders if Evita lived that life twice. Concerning the reality of Jesus, the official version is that He was a creation of Constantine to combat the proliferation of Roman faiths. The "Gospel of Thomas" is a recently discovered collection of the sayings of Jesus, dating from 200AD. It has been identified as the long suspected Q Source, from which Matthew and Mark were produced. Some of the sayings that didn't make it were: "Damn the Pharisees. They are like dogs in a manger. They neither eat, nor suffer others to eat." concerning the scriptures compiled and supplied by the Essenes on Mount Carmel. Zachariah, father of John The Baptist, Jesus' cousin, was one of these and thus murdered. "Is circumcision profitable to a man?" "If it were, he would have been created that way. But the true circumcision, that of the heart, is in every wise profitable." Blind Freddy only sees what he wants to see.
  17. On the topic of "Did Jesus Exist as recorded in the Bible", let us just cut to the quick. We have a record, as for another "myth", Plato's Atlantis, of a man born of The Virgin, transforming water to wine, multiplying food, healing diseases, raising people from the dead, and likewise even raising Himself after pronouncing to the Pharisees that, while they had corrupted the Synagogue into a financial institution, "Destroy this Temple (His body) ...", He would raise it again in three days. Is there any possibility that such feats are in fact possible by a soul which has made its will one with that of the Creative Energies Themselves, such that His Father, Abba as He called Him, is actually performing the "miracles" toward His Divine purposes for mankind. From the reverse side of this coin, is science sufficiently advanced to pronounce that Abba in not the Author of the Creation. On the contrary, is Creation a happy accident that has produced creative consciousness capable of entertaining such questions in a material world? What would be required to resolve this fundamental issue concerning our own existence and fate definitively?
  18. Halley: Sir Isaac, how can someone as learned as you believe such foolishness as Astrology. Newton: Because Sir, I have studied it, and you have not. "Morality is of the highest importance - but for us, not for God." - Albert Einstein "[since time immemorial] the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." - Yeshua ben Yoseph (okay?) Matthew 11:12 (compare the entire chapter Matthew 11 with Malachi 4:5 and Matthew 17:10 - 12 KJV). Thus I believe the Scripture and the Master of masters before the orthodoxy of the Church. Jesus, and Mahatma Ghandi, never used force to exploit their fellow man. Both became victims of those who do. Thus I believe the writings of the masters of science before those who leap on the threshold, and fill their masters houses with violence and deceit. I hope you standards are not too high to receive this.
  19. Let me put it more simply. An hypothesis is the bottom line of a model of reality. A variety of opinions exist as to whether those stamped mainstream are correct, and those with any validity would harbour their alternatives. Certain hypotheses are deemed mainstream, and atheism is one, the Big Bang another, and an entourage has attempted at all costs to prop these up without the alternative of revision. They have become sacred cows, and this is unhealthy for science. To progress, science must deem any hypothesis good, leastwise because anomalies rather than predictions have pointed the way to more correct hypotheses. To do as has been done since Einstein passed on, creating exponentially radiating sub-hypotheses to remove anomalies, indicates ulterior motives not dissimilar to those of the Church in Galileo's time. Namely, attempting at all costs to maintain an aura of infallibility for political purposes. Examples are Big Bang, neutrinos and quantum physics. False hypotheses created and maintained will prevent advancement through incorrect constraints. Particle physics has a huge testing ground - Astronomy. Amazing accomplishments are forthcoming from this application of the former, but one thing is clear to me - many phenomena, such as cosmic radiation, gamma ray bursts, high gamma sources in galactic cores, barred galaxies, hydrogen emissions perpendicular to the plane of galaxies, Hoag's Object, moons with and moons without synchronous rotation in our Solar System, etc. point to more than errors, rather complete stalling. Now I have, for my own satisfaction, evolved my own hypotheses that explain all of those mentioned and more besides in other areas of science. Rightly or wrongly, its better than marking time to the strains of a band, because an authority has chosen jurisdiction over the Truth, to the laughter of the Gods.
  20. Neutrons ejected from a nucleus does not imply that they exist as such within the nucleus exclusively with protons with any more certainty. You may just as easily claim that electrons, alpha particles, mesons and Higgs bosons do as well. Neutrons do not have a 10.3 minute half life in the nucleus. I think I'll claim that this proves they don't exist in the nucleus or they'd go off. I think that electrons and protons live happily in the nucleus alone, and that the binding energy within the nucleus is the electrostatic charge between protons in the form of the electrons which are shared between all the protons. In fact, I believe that electric force between charged particles is the only force in existence, that the nuclear electrons are able to exist in the nucleus because they have acquires the energy equivalent of mass that would allow it, and that this produces the necessary frequency for their necessary motion to be consistent with proton radii. On the matter of all other forces required by nature, special relativistic effects are responsible for converting electrostatic forces to magnetic forces because space contraction imbalances positive and negative fluxes in a conductor carrying a steady current. If the current is not steady, electromagnetic radiation is also produced. In an analogous fashion, gravitational forces result due to general relativistic effects from relatively accelerating charges. Such a situation does not just describe alternating current producing electromagnetic radiation. It also describes circular motion, such as these nuclear electrons. Hence electromagnetic radiation is influenced by gravity, and charged particles, of which all matter is composed, responds to the universe with inertia. Without a universe, how can centrifugal force exist? It would be impossible to determine spinning. Spinning is acceleration of charged particles with respect to all the particles in the universe. This would explain the equivalence of gravitational and inertial mass. Einstein used the equivalence to devise General Relativity. He did not explain the equivalence. But since the charges in antimatter are reversed, it is conceivable that universal expansion, which is accelerating, is because matter and antimatter repel. The antiproton, though, was not discovered until the year of Einstein's death. Have I got this all wrong, or is much science submerged since then, with spin doctors keeping up appearances?
  21. That removes any viability of an experiment using thermite, corrected to yield the planet's composition in terms of elements, and the results in terms of elemental distribution throughout the various divisions as both elements and layers are theorised. We won't be able to use layer resultrs because of vanishing gravity toward the centre, so that's where it will stop any correction of how much original Uranium existed. The Kryptonian scenario does, however, lend a lot of weight to prophecies about a fiery end of days.
  22. There are also a tremendous amount of anti-intuitive hypotheses, ad hoc hypotheses which conveniently explain anomalies just as the Lorentz Contraction Hypothesis did before Relativity, statistical support which would support any number of alternative hypotheses, hypotheses which contradict both Special and General Relativity (Big Bang hypothetical v > c, and density Gm/rc^2 > 1, both of which exceed the condition for time and space to become non-existent, respectively), vested economic interest through technological advancement, and national security interest such as gave the US Trinity, the last two of which (technology & defence) and now intimately integrated. This only covers physics/particle physics and astronomy/astrophysics. Two other areas of concern are Mining interests and their relation to Palaeontology/Geology (UNESCO Geological Map of the World/James Maxlow) and the exploitation of Human Resources Worldwide Psychology/Theology/Cosmology/Hermetic Philosophy (Occult). All of these areas of knowledge and research may be subverted and controlled using the modern centralisation and scope of intelligence and power. "Blind faith in authority is the worst enemy of Truth" - Albert Einstein. It is good to know that I am as certifiable as he was, on a great many issues. I just find God a much more Fatherly power than Spinosa, and seem to see many good reasons why "Coincidence is God's way of staying anonymous" - Guess Who. But you may want to meditate on the reason for so much negative publicity, and contrary theory, levelled at "The Man of The Century" (Time Magazine) and his work. His "Ideas and Opinions" may well be one more, and a very significant, source of "Inconvenient Truths".
  23. Wow! You were all pretending to be so objective in your debating about the life of Christ. It didn't take much to bring out your true colours. Third generation dyed in the wool atheists suckling at the teets of mammon, bleeting like sheep, and perhaps running like lemmings towards what? Freud prostituted his talents to appease the powers, as revealed by his letters with Jung. 20 years brought on WWI. Woodrow Wilson appeased the Central Powers with a Fourteen Point Plan, devised with Edgar Cayce's input, to further prevent WWII. Reneging thwarted the intended effect in another 20 years, with the claim that they were too idealistic! Plainly, a further 20 put us in the Cuban Missile Crisis with the same causes, corporate greed and exploitation! Einstein likewise worked hard to establish the UN, and to spread some light. Corporations should be controlled, not controlling, on every front! And like Einstein and Woodrow, our efforts should be to embrace Truth, Justice and Liberty, a chain that is unbreakable if liberty is as set in Washington by Thomas Jefferson, "I have sworn upon the alter of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." We don't know the truth about helium and the Hindenburg, that requires science, but Rudolf Deisel had it right, and there are no suspicious circumstances? Have you Google Earthed the North Pole lately. It's all open sea! Forget about 17% swings in critical electorates when polls are usually out by 2%, for Al Gore. Keep believing convenient "truths" and I'll see you on Polaris maybe. Revelation Chapter 11. The Wheel turns.
  24. I gave Einstein's opinion. Presumably he found it difficult to relate to individuals who were incompetent to comprehend alchemaic symbolism in parables and mystic analogies. His background in such things was, after all, far more profound than that of serious Bible students. Personally, I am somewhat at variance with Einstein myself, where his opinions seem to contradict those of Jesus Christ. Even contemporary Christianity is foul of King James' meticulous creation, which I deem the work of predestined providence and hence prophecies throughout. The Gospel of Thomas puts paid to the garbage about Constantine inventing Jesus. Jeshua ben Joseph is the original, but that is neither here nor there. The King James English, which is innately metaphorical in line with alchemy, can not be further translated. Consider John Chapter 3 for instance. What do "water and the spirit" translate to in modern English, or "He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true"? As for current orthodoxies, "born again", recalling Job Chapter 1, is in my opinion actually literal, and not as taken to be symbolic. Thus correct interpretation may require a prophet or psychic to expound, which phenomena Psychology began to expunge from Science in 1900. Too many soldiers had been herded into armies on high moral platforms deriving from Christianity. Too many corporations had made rods for their own backs. So tell me, who finances and controls the media and the educational institutions? Who then chooses what is and what is not taught? Consider the Civil War. Was it slavery, or was it 13 States seceding from the Union tax base that caused the real concern? I might conclude with QED. You can't handle the truth. Zephaniah Chapter 3 (KJV)
  25. You are arguing with Albert Einstein! I have not read the Talmud myself, but I do realize that it is huge from the description I found. It would also seem to preserve much learning from the Jewish Babylonian captivity. It would explain the IMF from my limited facts. Do you seriously think your 'bon mots' trump Albert Einstein's opinion? I'm not too modest, but certainly prepared to give way to his genius before almost anyone except Jesus Christ Himself, and most certainly my own. I must say, that's what I love about chess. You can not argue with checkmate!
