So lastnight my friend decided he was inebriated enough to piss on my couch. I wonder if intelligence has anything to do with tolerance.

We really do need to try and change the way we live. If we stop caring about the future and put off trying to make it possible, our problems will become our children's. Don't put these things off, small change can have a big impact when lots of people are doing it.

I think the universe is finite although it has no boundary. I don't think it has a definite shape. Your better off not trying to envision something your brain doesn't comprehend. The observable universe, do you really think its even anywhere close to 1% of the universe? Either i'm thinking too big or most are thinking too small.

Lee Smolin is a theoretical physicist who says that the universe evolves. He has a hypothesis stating that a black hole gives birth to a new universe. That for every black hole, their is natural selection. Before you call him crazy just think that the majority of the elements in your body were created by a star. with iron being that last and heaviest element created before that stars own gravity engulfed itself, becoming a black hole.

One thing I love about science is that when you have a neat little idea it might be crap. Although usually those ideas lead on to bigger ones and eventually you might be on to something even if its just a small concept from a large hypothesis.
