  1. Hello,

When matter and antimater collide there is a total release of energy.

    1) What is this energy?

    2) what affect would it have on the second law and entropy.

    3) would it continue to exist in the antimatter or matter realm (realm used for lack of a better word) E,g where do the fundamental particle go after the total turning of matter into energy?

Some speculate with an oxymoron in that it becomes anti-energy

    Thank you

    Alan

  2. Hello people I know my little essay is a statement but it is a statement of how really huge the universe our home realy is.

The unimaginable vastness of the universe

    Author Alan McDougall

The distances in space are unimaginably vast beyond human comprehension. If I try, tell an uninformed nonprofessional that it is so many kilometers to the Sun or moon, will these people be able to comprehend these vast unbelievable distances.

The moon and sun are a mere two light seconds and eight light minutes respectively from the earth. Light travels at 300 000 kilometers a second or seven times around the earth in the same time. The moon is a mere 400 00 kilometers and the sun about 156 million kilometers from the earth respectively, next-door neigbours in fact. Even this is near distance on cosmological scale is almost impossible for anyone to truly comprehend. What about our nearest neibour, Alpha Centauri only 4.2 light years away and the next nearest star to the sun. Just around the corner on the vast cosmological scale.

It helps if one understands that the fastest object ever made by man “(spacecraft voyager at 100 000 kilometers per hour)” would take 80,000 years to get there. Then if you understand how amazingly fast that object actually goes one might begin to gleaning some understanding of how far away Alpha Centauri is. Moreover, Centauri is our next-door neighbor!

Then we can move further. Let us say, Epsilon Eridani, 10 light years away. That is over twice as far - Voyager would take close to 200,000 years to get there. All evidence of human civilization would be pretty much gone in a few thousand years, given an average society lifespan of about 1000 years or less, We're talking 200 societies coming and going before Voyager makes it to Epsilon Eridani. Moreover, Epsilon Eridani is right next door.

The Andromeda galaxy, The galaxy nearest to our own milky way galaxy is mere two million light years away.. Voyager would take forty thousand billion years (40,000,000,000,000) to get there. That is over 3300 times longer than the current postulated age of the universe, and that's our nearest galactic neighbor. There are galaxies that are estimated to be12 billion light years from earth and the strange objects called quasars even future at 14 billion light years.

To reach far galaxies with a Voyager like spacecraft would take almost an eternity and it is obvious that this cannot be the ultimate method of crossing the universe. I foresee instant teleportation or some type of mind/spiritual means as the method used by advanced humanity in the very distant future to explore the universe.

Maybe they are not far at all, right next to us in an parallel universe or alternate dimension only requiring a portal to visite our reality

  3. Skeptic,

Please I did not want to wallow in relgious mud by assuming some malignant malicious god created these little follows.

I have read that viruses might have a role in the process of evolution. Such as changing DNA occasionally in a positive or negative direction.

Your thoughtful comments are much appreciated, Thank you!

I wish I could point a magic wand at them and wipe them out.

Coming down with virus illnesses is such a painon

    I agree

    Regards

  4. Greering I am new, Engineer,

    Hybrid animals,

I have a few questions relating to hybrid animals.

The great cat family seems to interbreed and result in hybrids. Why is this?

The horse family Donkey, hourse, etc, also do so, can they breed with a zebra or is to too remote genetically. Two questions?

The dog family produces hybrids easily. Why is this?

The ape and monkey family do not produce hybrids. Why is this?

Forgive my ignorance on genetics as I am an Engineer not a geneticist.

Anything that you can add about hybrid animals will be most appreciated.

    Human Ape hybrid for example!

    Regards

  5. Hello people,

Just to bounce myself into the forum, what do you guys think about no micro system being absolute ?

:-)There is no system or place in a system which is absolute, so that by reference to it we may determine absolutely the velocity of a movement. Yet to measure the movement of any system we must adopt a standpoint. This is Einstein's principle of relativity. Every observer of nature measuring phenomena takes a frame of reference and whatever frame he chooses it must be for him a system at rest. Thus just as we saw in Bergson's theory when we considered the subjective factor, or mind, or intellect, so in Einstein's theory when we consider the objective factor, the world, or universe, we have nothing absolute to refer to

I SUGGEST EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE NOTHING IS ABSOLUTE

Nothing is as it seems to be and all things are subjective realties to the observer. There is no absolute time, time moves differently from one object to the next and in one location to the next. For example, time moves slower on massive objects like the Sun or Jupiter and faster on smaller objects like our Earth. It moves even minutely faster in space. This is no longer a theory, but proven fact. Extremely accurate precision atomic clocks on fast moving spacecraft have detected this strange phenomenon and proven Einstein’s theory of relativity to be true. Stop all the clocks in the universe and movement will continue unaffected. Stop all movement and the illusion we call time will stop and nothing ever happen again, unless Source again allows movement to begin again? (OK maybe I am wrong on this take it too peaces if you like!!)

Time is elastic with in one moment in only one direction, namely into future moment. The twin paradox describes what happens. One twin boards a spacecraft traveling close to the speed of light, on a voyage for Alpha Centauri, some four light years from earth. Ten years he returns having aged only one year compared to his now twenty-year-older twin brother. An enigmatic paradox but absolutely true and real.

One exciting, but far distant use of this effect is the real possibility of reaching any moment in the future. Given enough speed, one could reach the Olympic Games of the year 2108, in a matter of a few subjective days.

Backward times travel to the past, is a fantasy and if this were possible, a person could do the impossible and go back and murder their younger self.

There is no universal now! Events are simply there, hanging in space-time Time cannot exist without space and space cannot exist without time. We only conceive of time by the movement of an object through space, so space and time are different realities of the same thing and can only exist where movement is allowed.

For example, stop all movement in the universe and you have stopped time, have you not? Therefore, these three things should be consolidated in to one "spacetimemovement" reality. There is simply no universal now and each moment is unique to the observer. Perhaps if we could view the whole of reality like unraveled frames of a enternal movie story, depicting the life of the universe, from its birth until its demise like, separate billions of moments, recorded on each frame of the film of existence.

Time is a measurement we have created to track how we move through space. (I think)

It should be obvious that something that is eternal cannot exist in three-dimensional reality. It must exist outside of what we call time and space in an “ever-changing moment”

    Regards
