Fifteen or so years ago I was living in Togo & had to have an operation (most unpleasant - spinal anaesthetic - legs paralysed for three days etc.).

I later found out that, while I was in hospital, the local Mosque had been saying prayers for me every day (I knew just one man who went there.) What did the Christian churches do? Exactly what you would expect - bugger all.

Nowhere in the New Testament does it tell the readers to kill those who leave their faith or convert under the threat of death or chop off peoples heads or it was OK to rape a woman. While it is true so called Christians also do these things, they are not commanded by their teachings or faith to carry out such despicable acts on other people.

I find that if I visualise a face with enough concentration, there comes a point where, independent of my concious movement, my body starts to ASSUME the mannerisms of the person who's face Im thinking about? What is going on?

And not only that.

Everything I do, while simultaneous focusing on the mental image of that face, will be done exactly the way that person would do it, without me trying to consciously imitate him! how does this happen? its like I can actually transform into other people merely by thinking about them!

For example, say my friend stella has a unique way of laughing and talking. Now when I close my eyes, visualise her face strongly...and just 'laugh', my laugh comes ouit EXACTLY AS SHE WOULD LAUGH! im not CONCIOUSLy trying to laugh like her, it just happens! what is going on in my brain to make this possible??

But as an atheist and a scientist I do not, and personally I consider your story no more proof of the Afterlife or of God than a crazy dream I had last night after eating too much ice cream before bedtime. And while you claim you have "no doubts" and believe you saw The Tree of Knowledge and Jesus, please know that this is all purely anecdotal. What would be far more impressive is if you had come away from the dream with some knowledge you did not have before. Like a fact from one of those books you said you saw by the Tree. Which, btw, if they were from the Tree of Knowledge in Genesis, would have been written in Hebrew, correct? Since that is the lingua franca of the original Torah.
