Well, get on with it then. I shall be 75 later this year and so I expect several terabytes of volatile RAM holding quite a lot of data to lose its power supply sometime in the next 5 or 10 years!

I have no problem with someone stating what he sees as fact (even religious fact) in the expectation that people might enter into discussion. If people wish to say he is wrong then they should (IMO) present evidence rather than just be insulting. My comment about "apple" I saw as humorous as it was a play on "fruit". When I die I don't expect to find myself anywhere, but if I do I'll accept it as an unexpected bonus (and that's not supposed to be funny!)

Ben, I wonder why you feel the you want to lash out blindly without reason or humour.

Or, perhaps, an apple - although the fruit supplied in the Garden of Eden isn't actually listed.

Sometimes, perhaps, the best theoretical solution is not practically possible - going out now - cheers.

I think possibly economy of pathways. You can't have a separate bloodstream for each module into which is fed its individual hormone requirements. Same way that you cant have a separate data connection for each memory location.

Not my subject, excuse ignorance, but I can't see why the eyeball should "send a request" for SFH. Are you saying that if one module demands, say, FSH, they all get it? If so, then I would expect there to be some selector mechanism to ensure only the module requiring the hormone receives it. Something like data fed into memory via a bus gets addressed and only ends up in one location. As I say, not knowledgeable just interested.

Come to think of it, wouldn't it be better to think of the endocrine system as a set of variables, one for each hormone. Each variable being able to accept alteration as demanded by a module?
