  1. The way I see it is that any communication traveling ftl and going back in time would reach a point of equilibrium. By this I mean that the time it took to travel "x" distance would not have passed there by making that part of the journey instantaneous. Once the signal reached this point its entire journey would be instant and therefore causality would not be affected. If you want to dispute this remember I have the IQ of toast.

  2. I don't know if this has been said but a patent only covers you worldwide for 12 months then its a free for all. Make sure you are in a good position before you release any info. World wide patents have to be arranged country by country using their own process and some will stall you as long as they can to get it off you. It costs a fortune so you would want t be making plenty from as close to day one as you can. Have a solicitor draw up a disclosure agreement for people to sign before they even view your idea. Make the patent as general as they will allow to cover you against people making minor changes to get round your patent.

  3. yes its true  Its due to the convection of the water. Using the temp difference to drive the circulation and allowing the water to cool evenly. Cold water freezes first at its outer surfaces and the ice then insulates the still liquid water. You can make ice cubes faster this way too, try it. :)

  4. You can get data log types if you just want to know an objects movements but you need periodic access to the object to get at the data. These are gps based and record a set of coordinates at set time intervals.

  5. I had that full clip on video, however the website says it was broadcast but it wasnt. It was a deliberate wind up by the cast, however the producers were quickly on to it.Like your going to miss it :)
I did wonder as it was constant innuendo all the way through, but with the likes of sponge bob I would not rule anything out.
  6. A tourist in Vienna is going through a graveyard and all of a sudden he hears some music. No one is around, so he starts searching for the source. He finally locates the origin and finds it is coming from a grave with a headstone that reads:

    Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827.

Then he realizes that the music is the Ninth Symphony and it is being played backward! Puzzled, he leaves the graveyard and persuades a friend to return with him. By the time they arrive back at the grave, the music has changed. This time it is the Seventh Symphony, but like the previous piece, it is being played backward.

Curious, the men agree to consult a music scholar. When they return with the expert, the Fifth Symphony is playing, again backward. The expert notices that the symphonies are being played in the reverse order in which they were composed, the 9th, then the 7th, then the 5th.

By the next day the word has spread and a throng has gathered around the grave. They are all listening to the Second Symphony being played backward.

Just then the graveyard's caretaker ambles up to the group. Someone in the group asks him if he has an explanation for the music.

"Don't you get it?" the caretaker says incredulously.........

    ............... "He's decomposing."

  7. Does any one know of anything that helps with back problems caused by the nerve branch in the center of the back around the bottom rib area. I have problems from the past when driving an Avensis too far for too long too often. I still have problems now even with a better seat. Could exercises make the area stronger ( my own muscles shreaded my back when it was bad though )?
