Compare and contrast.I first downvoted and then ,very soon removed the downvote of your reply to me because I saw that you had ,at a later stage added to your crpytic response with a second part that ,at least made some sense.
Meanwhile someone had upvoted my Delphic Oracle reply to your cryptic response and so you have seen fit to downvote it .
Petty or what?

I knew it was you @TheVat.If you see the notification quickly enough it can be obvious by checking who is online.Same way I could tell who had cancelled it out(and why).
A bit annoying ,esp when I had just canceled my own downvote (my first ever possibly in some 15 years) because ...well I explained above

Well I wasn't going to bother replying to you but since you ask directly and out of courtesy (and because I know the answer) the first part of your reply was "yes we are" and made no sense when taken as a reply to the text you actually quoted from my post.
When I found time to go through the whole of the text including what you had not actually quoted I could find what "yes we are " seemed to refer to.
Also ,as I said you had in the meantime(perhaps a few minutes later) added and replied to a second block of text from.the same post with a reply that made sense.
So I removed my down vote only to see a little while later that you had removed TheVat's acknowledgement of my humourous ,if tetchy reply
The rest ,as they say is ,hopefully history.
