  2. l. How near is near? Do we know what pressures exist near the red star? The 'waterfall' which remains unexplained in the text accompanying the photo appears to fall into an 'area' which I believe could be high pressure, possibly caused by anti-gravity. 2. Liquid water exists as an ocean on Europa, covered by ice, Europa exists in a vacuum. It is not inconceivable that a globe of water formed in space would either instantly or nearly instantly form an ice shell to contain the water. A few of the moons of Saturn, Jupiter and possibly Uranus are said to be similar to Europa. I have seen photos of the ice moons shooting geysers of water, which of course turn instantly to ice and snow. I did not say all the moons of Jupiter and Saturn are balls of water. However, some of those moons (I don't know how many) are covered by ice having oceans beneath, and this has been proven through photos of water geysers shooting from the ice. In my proposal the moons begin as balls of water, within which grows the minerals forming the core. Thanks Reality Check. Your information helps us all to consider what may be possible. I think if anyone only a decade or two in the past had suggested that baby stars emit water they would have been considered lunatic by people relying on consensus. http://www.astrobio.net/pressrelease/2445/hot-and-steamy-star The url content suggests that earth's water did not have to come from comets, as seems to be the consensus among most people I talk to. This url suggests plenty of water in space. http://www.astrobio.net/pressrelease/142/cold-clouds-and-water-in-space I admit my concept requires plenty of imagination, but Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge."
  3. http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap991129.html The photo of this nasa apod page shows what I believe is a ball of water being formed and shot into space by the pulse from the red star. We know these balls of water exist in space, some as moons of Jupiter and Saturn. Several years ago in a science magazine I saw an electron scanning microscope photograph of rock layers being formed in water, the layers formed around a specific molecule which had been dropped into the water. I wish I could remember which magazine, which molecule, etc., but I can't, but the photo, except for scale, exactly resembled layers of shale or sedimentary rock I have seen on shores of the Great Lakes. I propose that earth formed from such a ball of water in the way pictured in the magazine, the layers growing until they break the surface of the waters, continuing to grow, forming Pangea (I think that was the name of the first continent) then that super-continent breaking apart and forming the present continents.
  4. In most forum discussions I've been engaged in the Big Bang was always presented as an explosion until recently when new evidence suggested it was not an explosion, and then those who had been content calling it Big Bang for so long began to call it something else which seems to be a different word with the same meaning as explosion.
  5. What age do you consider 'kids'? What age does the criminal system consider 'kids'? How old is the 'adult'? At what age does a 'kid' become an 'adult'? Is the 'adult' in a position of authority over the 'kid'? Has the 'adult' affected the 'kid' with drugs or alcohol in order to subdue common sense or sense of right and wrong? Has the 'kid' enticed the 'adult' in order for monetary favours (If the kids is a kid the ault should know better in that case.) In general, an 'adult' having sex with a 'kid' is disgusting, and the adult should be put in prison.
  6. There is no electromagnetic spectrum in non-locality. I phrased my entry poorly. Wikipedia has an entry for nonlocality, which is also understood as action at a distance "action at a distance is the interaction of two objects which are separated in space with no known mediator of the interaction." Non locality says an action here is repeated or has effect instantly as far away as on the other side of the universe.
  7. I figure non-local cellphone calls will be a reality if our present technological civilization lasts another 20 years .. no more towers, just from cellphone to cellphone.
  8. "Well-tested theories become Laws of Science..." and therein lies the problem, because being well-tested does not make the law unbreakable, but it may be observed as being unbreakable by the minds of many who believe strongly in that law despite new evidence that the law is not unbreakable at all. Two time Nobel winner Linus Pauling called Daniel Schechtman a quasi-scientist after Schechtman announced his discovery of quasi-crystals. Pauling went so far as to mount a campaign against Schechtman. In a seperate vein, the Big Bang is said to have exploded from an infinite singularity. It it was infinite, the explosion would be infinite as well, and that would eliminate the possibility that the universe will collapse upon itself. Or am I wrong in thinking I read that the singularity was infinite?
  9. Hello, I'm a believer in what Einstein said, that "imagination is more important than knowledge," because knowledge is limited to what we think we know, while imagination can roam beyond barriers. I have no formal education beyond grade 12, but have been an avid reader of non-fiction for most of my life. One of my favourite quotes is 'Definition of an Expert: Someone who know so much they can't learn anything new.'
  10. Some creation myths regarding our solar system say the sun only gave light after life was formed on earth .. I can see reason to add belief to those myths through your proposal.
  11. Enstein's contemporary Pascual Jordan said, "A star can be made out of nothing at all because at point of zero volume its negative gravitational energy precisely cancels out its positive mass energy." Jordan was one of the 'fathers' of Quantum Mechanics. A Scientific American article a few years old proposes Space and Time composed of quantum bits woven together. It has been proposed that quantum fluctuations in space may have created matter (with resulting gravity) .. I propose that quantum fluctuations may also have created a perfect form of nothingness, pushing the quantum bits of space and time away from each other, with resulting anti-gravity, and that the 'anti-gravity grew into the bubbles known as Voids. In my theory, as these bubble grew, they pushed matter apart as well as together, resulting in the present structural form of the universe. Acclerated expansion would occur through cumulative effects of bubbles roughly in line with each other .. causing matter further away to be pushed faster than matter close in. This theory requires no Dark Matter or Dark Energy.
