Tried to rescue a Bee today... I am way too soppy... I fished it out of a pool of water that was probably alkaline due to the cement. I hope the little fella/girl is OK. I put it on a leaf over the fence but it fell into the bushes. It seemed to have some strength left in it so it might survive. Just gotta leave it and hope it survives - it probably has more chance in the bushes than it did in the cement water.
I do this a lot with bees - I never know if they survive or not... some are just too weak. I have tried sugar solution in the past with varying successes and fail rates - Sometimes they tuck in and sometimes they are too far gone..
I guess every little helps.

I'd like to take that same moral highground and say that I keep spiders alive in my house.... I DO to an extent - I leave them alone if they leave me alone - but I am afraid that my arachnophobia kicks in if they are really huge and they start running at me - I do cull the braver ones in a hope that evolution will wheedle them out and they stay away. Happy for them to share the space and eat the flies... but stay away from me!
I'm sure they are getting bigger - I have had a couple that honestly would not fit onto the back of a playing card over the last couple of years. Thankfully though the smaller spindly one (which I am fine with) seem to eat the big ones! ... well - I saw one win a fight against a monster anyway - bound it up and ate it! I was impressed.

If there are people less fortunate than you, that you wish to help, please do so.
I pay my taxes and give to charity and volunteer in the local community. I care about the place. I do not have unlimited funds and have to watch out for my retirement and the security of my wife.
Liberals are very liberal with other people's money. Don't try and shame me into giving my money to other people's children. Those lives are the responsibility of their parents. They are just as fortunate to be in this country as I am.

Blade Runner 2049 - Audio-Visually it's absolutely stunning, they managed to keep the original, dark, utopian vibe alive and even go a step further. The story is simple and revolves around human identity yet it triggers you to think. Instant classic in my opinion.

I cant seem to get it to net out at zero though - I gave you +1 and then -1 for this status update as a test... it only seems to register the final click.... so a single user can't give a + and a - for the same post... not that I can think of many reasons anyone would. lol.
I returned the balance to positive rather than leaving it at a neg. I was hoping to get it to return to zero.

The the human mind is an interesting thing. The the brain is highly developed, and the the human body has gone through many changes to support the the brain. When the the brain is reading sentences, it tends to skim and fill in the the blanks. I am certain that most of you did not notice the the double 'the's in the sentences. Have a good day!
