  1. Welcome, we're all here for you, you're not alone. First thing, science is NOT a religion. Spirituality deals with those aspects of life that can't be sensed or empirically observed. Science is concerned only with that which can be sensed, observed and tested. The two are not mutually exclusive and neither should seek to disprove the other. Physics is a good place to start, but there are no magic formulae or answers someone can give you without knowing you. How about reading some of the various forums here and doing your own research? Science and spirituality should both be about knowledge. Asking questions is important but listening to answers is better.
  2. And you chose BigMoosie because BigBen was taken? If you count a lot in base 5614, I know what you're smoking.
  3. YT2095 doesn't get cool spy pens like Ecoli does. His boss at MI-6 is too cheap. http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/showpost.php?p=75035&postcount=313
  4. Ecoli is a secret agent just like YT2095. Except he used his exploding fountain pen at home recently and ruined his mom's hardwood floors. I read all about this recently. While I was in prison. With yourdadonapogos. He snores.
  5. All good points, Pangloss, and don't get me wrong. It's the terrorism we've spawned in Iraq by attacking and occupying that has me upset. Al Qaida is there because it's the best place to showcase the injustice being done to Islam, from their POV. If you are an Iraqi displaced by the bombings and angry that your country has been taken over by someone you've been taught to hate all your life, you are a ripe candidate for an Al Qaida recruiter, even if you don't support their past actions. And I'm reasonably sure we are taking some covert measures to insure that Al Qaida's funding is derailed. That's the problem with covert measures, they need to be kept from the public sometimes. I simply take acception to wielding such a heavy hand in Iraq, supposedly against terrorists, when the more military might we show seems to breed more terrorists fueled by religious fervor. I suppose I contest it's effectiveness against terrorism compared to removing the funds and the emotional fervor that is keeping us over there for an unspecified amount of time.
  6. Because as a solution to curbing Al Qaida's funding your suggestion is nothing short of brilliant. With "nothing" being a vast, gaping chasm hundreds of kilometers wide.
  7. Make them read a single paragraph with 1330 words in it. That will kill ANYTHING!
  8. Maybe what we need to do about Al Qaida is stop fighting them and start doing something about their funding. Bombing them seems to make the flames grow. How about removing the fuel?
  9. 5614 is the sum of his mother 2112 and his father 3502. None of the three are currently in prison.
  10. BenSon likes knowing when YT is online.
  11. BigMoosie is one of only six or seven Australians who have never actually wrestled an alligator and won. He is hopeful for a rematch.
  12. That expresses my feelings exactly, In My Memory. Thanks very much for that. When someone finds a button to push to get a reaction, they'll just keep pushing it. Pass this ammendment and you'll see more flags burned than ever before, and more people needlessly in prison.
  13. I just hope the priesthood (like Rev. Dak) don't develope any wierd fettucines, like fondling angel hair. I'm always alfredo that.
  14. BenSon has a huge collection of tapes he bought from -Demosthenes-.
  15. Nice of you to stop back by! In that case I would choose the least abrasive of the solutions we've given you here and start with that. You can alwasy go stronger but you can't go back if you scratch it all up by scrubbing too hard.
  16. 5614 changes his signature often. This is probably to elude the authorities on several continents.
  17. Aaah, so there's a method to your marinara. Judging by most creationist reasoning, I wouldn't put it pasta them.
  18. I can't help feeling manipulated by the whole thing though. Many things we are doing that benefit many powerful people get justified over and over by the 911 attacks. Is that just opportunism at work? I still maintain that trying to thwart terrorism with conventional military means just fuels more terrorism. And look at the cost in lives and resources compared to what it costs the terrorists. No business would consider the ratios acceptable. Unless the costs of doing business gets funded by the taxpayers.
  19. Lance prances around in women's underwear. Or so the IRC story goes....
  20. 5614 is the most curious person I know. I like that. I think they reached 10,000 yesterday and now it's just buried by other threads posted. Try looking at their archives. I like this just for the info and the clever. The race is secondary.
  21. BenSon has fish in tanks. I don't mean he eats fish in tanks, he just keeps them there. In fish tanks, not military-type tanks. That would be pretty silly if he kept fish in military-type tanks. Or ate them there.
  22. Wierd. I haven't had any 404s or access errors since the server was changed. I don't know if I've ever gotten one posting or quoting, it was always trying to hit a link to a thread or post. I'll check with Dave and blike to see if they know what it could be. If they figure it out there are some members we might want to infect with what you have.
  23. Is this on regular posts or on private messages?
  24. Moving to Engineering for some motivation.
