  1. Sometimes you have to fight the evil empire with another evil empire. If nothing else, they might create competition, which is always better for the consumer.
  2. I had the exact some problem with an onboard sound card and a via chipset. I ended up putting an audigy in and calling it a day. If you don't have a backup stand alone sound card then I'm not sure what to suggest.
  3. Here is one, it might be the one I was vaguely remembering or could be a different one, but sounds about right. http://www.netscape.com/viewstory/2006/09/01/judge-rapped-for-pedophiles-60-day-sentence-quits/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.msnbc.msn.com%2Fid%2F14622398%2F&frame=true 2 months jail time not probation...... And was Vermont. Judge was made to resign though, which is good. While I am sure it isn't the norm, you can go to google and search for pedophile probation and you will get a lot of hits (not necessarily NE like this one). It is a shame there are wackos that sit on benches letting pedophiles off so easily.
  4. The details I remember for this one specific case was a man over the course of two years had been constantly molesting a 5 year old boy and a six year old girl that I think were his nephew and neices... I can't think of any situation in which 2 months probation is sufficient for these actions. A group went after the Judge and after hounding him for some time I believe he increased the sentencing some...but it is still IMO absurd.
  5. Really, 9-12 year old girls are ready to bear children? My point in a prior post is how ridiculus some sentences are for pedophiles specifically some recent ones in the North East. The sentences usually coming from far LEFT leaning Judges, and include 2 months probation for such horrible crimes....
  6. True, maybe I was too general. Far left idealogy is a more accurate description than a political party. Paranoia: It is sickening that parents allow their pre-teen daughters to dress that way. It is sickening that there is such a market for the clothing that clothing manufacturers have lines of "juicy" or whatever else words written across the shorts or shirts of clothes for pre-teens. The parents allowing their kids to dress that way is inviting the negative attention and thoughts. That doesn't however relieve someone of responsibility for acting upon these "forced thoughts" as you refer to them. Natural behaviours for breeding and perpetuating the species I don't think invovles strictly youth, especially that young. Natural attraction is felt from characteristics that appear strong and child bearing, ie breasts for feeding, hips for passing the child, etc. These are all things that pre-teens do not possesse. Which would be agaisnt nature.....
  7. A source of confusion for me is the hypocracy of some political parties in their views of homosexuality and pedophilia. This specific political party believes that homosexuality is genetic, you are born that way and can't be "trained" to be heterosexual. The same political party believes that pedophiles can be rehabilitated or trained to not be pedophiles and thus are given lenient sentences involving probation and consuling. Hrmmmm.
  8. Are you using an onboard sound card?
  9. Wasn't the population of Earth supposed to be about 10 billion by now........ Yeh, predictions by uninformed people tickle me in a way that if Loretta....oops sorry.
  10. Well shit. Looks like the 100 or so names just posted and these accountants have proven us and the millions of other engineers and scientist in the World wrong, proven the iron age is boogus, a gas truck never melted an overpass, and apparently both parties of our government were involved with this massive evil plan to destroy the WTC towers. I knew I should have majored in accounting. I'm getting off the short bus, was an interesting ride.
  11. Artificial gravity due to rotation is not the same thing as gravitational attraction between two objects. The rotation is actually causing a centripetal force which feels like gravity. Any outside observer not rotating with cylinder would not feel this "gravity" as it is not a real gravitational force.
  12. When you stand over a stove where the eyes are on and heated to 300-400 F are you that hot?
  13. Yep, looks like it has been measured and 5 years ago too! http://www.nrao.edu/pr/2003/gravity/
  14. Well it all depends on whom you believe. If you listen to Newton gravity is instantaneous. If you listen to Einstein its propogations are limited by the speed of light. Relativity has proven time and time again to be more accurate than Newtonian models however the "speed" of gravity has thus far never actually been measured experimentally that I know of. Of course causing matter to vanish is the biggest problem with your idea:)
  15. Speeds that approximate free fall != free fall. Further, I just pointed out why once the building did start to collapse the closer to the base it got the less likely the rest of the building were to slow it down. And you are right, it is a moot point. The burden that remains on the shoulders of the conspirators is to prove that steel couldn't have been weakened by the fires. And while you are at it feel free to ignore the gas truck melting an overpass once again.
  16. An accountant, well I am sure you know best then. Being impressed requires understanding.
  17. I have never read a scientific paper that used terminology like "around"....there is a reason for that. Of course it fell "around" free fall speed, it obviously isn't going to fall in super slow motion, the momentum of the fall is what helped further collapse lower portions of the building. And again....look at the seismic data again.....18 seconds for tower 7. Was it twice as tall as the twin towers....I don't think so. No. As the impacted areas of the towers gave way and the top 20-30 floors began to fall they built up speed and thus energy and momentum. The lower portions of the towers with weakend steel (possibly not as weak as the initial zones) were impacted with the momentum of the top of the tower which was a force more than just the towers weight above that floor, and thus unable to slow the descent. For further reading which you may enjoy read this extensive debunking of popular mechanics filled with lots of links, resources, and references. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html?page=1
  18. How cute:) It looks like some conspirators needed to enlist the help of other delusioned conspirators here so they called on the 'big guns'. http://www.nineeleven.co.uk/board/viewtopic.php?t=9704
  19. And because you sly conspirators have evaded the question so well, I feel why not post it again! How did the fuel tanker truck catch fire and melt an overpass including the reinforcing steel thus causing its colapse? In open air (no kiln effect like with the WTC) far less fuel to propell the fire, cooler burning fuel and yet a steel overpass melted.......
  20. It is a sad but very accurate truth. 1) They did offer resistance and the buildings did not fall at free fall speed, unless of course you have proper scientific proof of such events. And the previous seismic activity that was linked too was hardly evidence of anything and was a direct contradiction to what whomever posted the link was trying to suggest. 2) From pictures of ground zero I saw there was plenty of broken, twisted and mangled debris, I am not sure what you expect when that many thousands of tons of concrete comes crashing down, perhaps you care to elaborate. Further and this is really important, you should research the design of the towers as it was far different than most towers built. The arrangement of steel and concrete specifically, therefore comparing the debris pile to other buildings is a futile exercise. Ranges and stoves operate around 300-400 degrees, and chefs use items specifically designed to withstand high temperatures. This is entirely irrelevant to the WTC and misses the point of my simple experimental suggestion. Obviously you have never worked with torches, metal, etc and observed the reactions metal has too heat. Air away from the fire dissipates heat rather quickly. The steel framing running throughout the towers could be far hotter than 300 C (572 F) and the air and surroundings of the firefighters would have been considerably less.
  21. A pile of debris is air tight? Interesting. Please provide the scientific and well documented 'official' claim you speak of, otherwise it is pure speculation on your part.
  22. You should take more care analyzing your own sources before using them. According to your own linked reference, building 7 which supposedly also fell at free fall, which was a fraction of the height of the twin towers produced seismic activity for twice as long. What does this mean....well the obvious, period of seismic activity recorded by the PAL site are not indicative of fall time for the collapsing buildings. The top of a building can start collapsing and have traveled a specific distance before enough mass and momentum has been built up by more collapsing building enough to be registered by the seismic instruments. Otherwise by all means explain why a much shorter building produced such a longer period of seismic activity. Again, google jet engines, you don't understand how they work. The combustion chamber is made of ceramics because the temperatures there are extreme, however as the gas is exhausted the pressure decreases, and so what does temperature do???? Ceramics are insulators.......that is why they are used in the combustor....google...it is your friend. Any difficulties being faced in this thread are the difficulties faced by conspirators at understanding science.
  23. Building 7 was hit by something bigger than a plane.....sections of the twin Towers when it collapsed....sections that were on fire..... If a building is creaking, popping, on fire, and losing structural integridy it doesn't take nostradomus to know it is going to collapse too. My eyes are wide open, are yours?
  24. No one is saying they were full.....they did however have a lot more than the little bit needed to land. Please refer to either alien's extensive explanation of the free fall claims or mine right above this post. It is becoming a little annoying having to repeat the same thing because it is easier for conspirators to desmise or ignore things they can't counter. And now you have left the realm of science and are entering the realm of pure speculation. See above post.....again......
  25. Do you know how a jet engine works? If not google jet engine, or more specifically jet engine combustor. The combustor is the section of the engine where the compressed air is mixed with the fuel and ignited. This chamber is constructed of ceramics because the temperatures reach in excess of 2700 degrees. Again, I suppose it needs to be repeated as it isn't sinking in. The steel did not have to be a liquid for the building to collapse, only weakened. Like alien pointed out and you have ignored or skipped over, it is one thing to say the buildings fell at near free fall speed, it is quite another to have actual proof they did so. Watching a video and guessing where the ground is (hidden behind other buildings) is not scientific and not proof at all. As alien pointed out, the frame rate of the recording matters, the observation needs to have a clear view of the ground, and a timing procedure better than just watching the second ticker is needed. A far more appropriate method would be to count frames and know the frame rate while seeing the ground and not what was thought to be the ground.
