Nice one - in India that is a tiny tiny percentage at the very top. Congrats

But bear in mind you would prob need new rear mech, new shifter, new wheel - all for two more gears?

You would need a new back wheel with a freehub. There are - typically - lots of variants. 135 is MTB standard, apparently 150mm is unusual. There are loads of 2nd hand 135 wheels on ebay. 140mm is unusual - I reckon you just need to measure more accurately.

Wider than a seven or eight I think but same as a 9 or 10. The gap they fit in is the same for 7 speed up to 12 speed - 130 mm for roadbikes and 150mm for MTB

52 at the front is a strong size - I use what are called compact cranks with a 50 tooth chain ring. Just a tiny bit easier. My road bike has 53 tooth - which is frankly ridiculous; I would be doing well over 40 mph before I spun out - and that aint going to happen any time soon.

Bike computers are so much fun - I should be able to ride without knowing my cadence etc - but I never do. 100km so far in 2017

Agree with Fiveworlds. For everything I submitted I followed my college's guidelines. When unsure use a journal's guidelines - preferably one associated with either college or tutor.

  15. It's not worth starting a thread for this: am I the only one bothered by the notation 120/80 mm Hg? Why not 120/80 mm Hg/mm Hg? Or 120 mm Hg / 80 mm Hg?

Completely agree. Have you noticed an uptick in fitness from the increased activity and decreased smoking?

"Can I have the biscuit? :D"

Definitely NOT. If it were a ratio then 12/8 would be healthy as would 240/120. It is the absolute values which matter and to an extent the difference

As this is already a bit 'pedantish' - it is not a ratio. It is two values; if it were a ratio it would be unitless. It is just a convenient way of expressing systole and diastole - roughly the highest and lowest pressures during one beat.
