Enders game is a good book although, I saw the ending a mile away. imatfaal if you haven't read Run with the horseman by Ferrol Sams. You might want to read it, its funny and covers mid depression era southern culture quite well. I'll give courtroom 302 a look.
I went a bit barmy on the Kindle - so I will have to keep those as reserves! Stranger in a Strange Land is a classic - but Ender's Game is one of those I have always missed out on
