The 23rd Sept was day one I.e Grape Day in the month of Grape Harvesting in the year 225. The French Revolutionaries did this properly and even invented a brand new calendar! Twelve months of 30 days split into 3 10 day weeks. 5 complimentary days of holiday for the sans culottes make up the 365 days - leap years like this year have an extra fete 22 spent was the feast of the revolution.
