  1. I'm all for being taken over by the swiss:-)
  2. Sluggish speedwise? No. But YAW is sluggish on a counter-rotating design. A tail rotor will always win in this area.
  3. I believe that would be an excellent card for your computer. Probly about the best you could do with AGP 4x. Before I gave my Dimension 2400 away, I would run WoW with a Nvidia FX5200, and that's through the PCI interface. AGP = faster than PCI = you good to go:cool:
  4. put me down for seritonin, cuz i wish mine would behave normally again...after the experimentation days:rolleyes:
  5. Idk if the effeciency would be any worse than a single rotor helicopter. The top blade does most of the work seeing as the bottom blade is getting only turbulant air. The lower blade is mostly just there to counteract the spinning of the top blade, so there is no need for a tail rotor. I personally don't like the design, not for effeciency reasons, but because there is extra engineering required in a counter rotating system. The mechanism is quite complex and more likely to break down. They are also a little on the sluggish side when it comes to yaw control.
  6. I'm glad you can see that, Bascule. Your post on "What if humans went extinct" had me a little worried. Of course everything will work out. Man will either find a way to fix something, or be wiped out sadly enough.
  7. Idk about you guys but I love Canada:rolleyes: Well I guess I have to, I was born there. But I haven't noticed any real increase in relations with them. Maybe a little more talking between countries on terrorist defense "strategeries" and the like.
  8. HAHA, BURNED! Dr. Dalek don't go:-( These debates happen very often on SFN it seems. I wouldn't go getting all upset about something like this.
  9. Good point ParanoiA. People always bring that question up. "What makes it ok for the US to have nukes and not other countries?". It's the fact that we don't give the other countries names like Small Satan(Israel) and Great Satan(U.S.). There's no doubt in mind that as soon as Iran gets a nuke, they're going to use it themselves, or give it to someone else that will. As long as it's against The Infidel.
  10. I'm anything but religious gcol, sorry you got that impression. Just more of a believer in fate, and just kinda letting what is alone.
  11. That's exactly what I meant. I'm not saying that humans are being guided by some unknown force, but that it is only a natural process for us to be doing what we're doing. If we choose to be a little kinder to the planet, ok. That's natural and might affect things a tiny bit. But saying that mankind is destroying the planet is a little extreme.
  12. We are meant to be on Earth. We are meant to do what we do on Earth. Everything is as it should be.
  13. The whole structure of the UN is outdated. It was formed as a sort of union to defend against the Soviet Union. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, there really is no purpose for the UN anymore. Pretty much all they can do is sit back and judge countries, which most countries, including the US, already do themselves. And the countries that disobey their rules, the ones that aren't afraid of how they look in the eyes of the world(North Korea and Iran) are rarely punished, since the UN has little to no power over them.
  14. Well I tried the google thing. Didn't find any relatives, but found 2 guys with the same name as me. A hockey player and a black DJ from Canada lol. Hope you have better luck.
  15. That would definately be a good thing for gaming. With my setup, I have to forward idk how many ports just to be able to host a game server. Kinda wish I had a public IP. EDIT: Static IP that is. My bad : /
  16. 7 cups eh? lol, that's a pretty exact amount. But yeah, supposedly you should get about 80% of that back as water.
  17. If it's an older computer, it's quite possible that the drive is faulty. If you have a spare CD-ROM drive sitting around, I would try swapping it in there.
  18. Idk about the other shows, but I looooooove Cowboy Bebop. Every episode is exciting. The music is also pretty good.
  19. Also if you're very tired, you don't really care about your actions as much. You get quite lazy. So things I don't mean to say to people sometimes slip out when I haven't had enough sleep, which has gotten me in trouble at work more than once.
  20. So if they succeed, are there gonna be aliens coming into our dimension like in Half-Life? lol:eek:
  21. I've actually done this before when I had sunburn in that...um, area(please don't ask). It maybe more tickled than anything, I think the sunburn was the most painful of it. There was no sexual pleasure in it, just embarrassment of getting sunburn there in the first place. No side effects yet as far as I can tell.
  22. I don't remember how exactly it works, but you can put an activex program into a webpage using Visual Basic. That right there could take the information and store it in a database.
  23. From my experience in mental health, which isnt a whole lot, setting fires for no apparent reason or purpose is a common action among schizophrenics. My friend's brother(who was schizophrenic) used to pile furniture in the middle of a room and walk back and forth trying to decide if he wanted to set it on fire inside the house or out in the yard.
  24. Yeah, just look at the ingredients list. Anything with the word acid after it might be a good culprit. I have a friend at work that said he and his buddies used to use it when they were doing mechanic work on cars. Worked like a charm apparently.
