  1. .. Bosons, and Higgs Bosons, Just like the difference between Velocity, and Speed (give that velocity & speed describe the same thing, velocity is a vector) I finds it interesting how that the energy of a fermion is not from its inner quarks, but from the space between them, as theoretical physicists believe ...
  2. I'm good my bro

  3. Lets say that you want to build a computational model for physics, that does not only represent objects, but also their atoms, down to the quarks and all of their properties, You would need to model the universe as a (99+)-dimensional, as they're degrees of freedom to contain more realistic view
  4. I design a website using the block method, here is an example: <html> <body> <div style="margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;width:800;height:800;background:#EEE;"> <div id="header" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:0;width:800;height:100;background:#DDD;"><br><h1>Title</h3><div> <div id="top_bar" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:100;width:800;height:40;background:#BBB;text-align:center;"><br><b>Home : Forums : Contact : Info : Help</b><div> <div id="content" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:50;width:800;height:150;"> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#A00;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br>RED</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#080;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br>GREEN</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#08B;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br><br>BLUE</div> <div> <div id="content" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:160;width:800;height:150;"> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#A00;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br>RED</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#080;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br>GREEN</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#08B;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br><br>BLUE</div> <div> <div id="content" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:160;width:800;height:150;"> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#A00;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br>RED</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#080;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br>GREEN</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#08B;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br><br>BLUE</div> <div> <div id="content" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:160;width:800;height:150;"> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#A00;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br>RED</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#080;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br>GREEN</div> <div class="block" style="float:left;width:30%;background:#08B;height:100%;margin-left:20;"><br><br><br><br><br>BLUE</div> <div> <div id="bottom_bar" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:160;width:800;height:40;background:#999;"><div> <div id="footer" style="position:absolute;left:auto;top:40;width:100%;height:50;background:#777;text-align:center;"><br>All rights are reserved for Khaled Khunaifer, 2011<div> </div> </body> </html> It's based on dividing a block into smaller blocks to fully fit inside, where outer boxes are adjusted for a better look ... Then enforce it using absolute position, with left:auto; for horizontal center, and top: xxx ; given the appropriate hight from the top region good luck,
  5. Speculation: Since bosons are vector forces, and Higgs boson is scalar .. then maybe Higgs boson is just a dominant force. Also, I'd imagine that the difference between a boson, and a Higgs boson is like the difference between a fish that swim, and a fish that doesn't ... The relation between boson and fermion is basically energy, a fermion produce a boson when it lose energy\mass, and it may absorb a boson which gives energy\mass, just like the example of an electron that emits a photon when it degrade orbitally .. Wrong ?
  6. All science has a dark side, which is no excuse to halt development freedom, Even if such thing is created, humans will then find a solution .. and even though, the ratio of death by such thing will remain lower than other things, Besides, when one creates a model, it's not a simple task .. and there exist something called TESTING, which is important.
  7. So the reason why we can observe free electrons, is that when they move from their energy-level in their atoms to a level that is not gravitationally impulsed by the atom, then the energy it lose is producing photons that we observe as light-blue bolts ... What is amazing is that theoretical physicists think that, energy of any primitive particle is not based on the quarks inside them themselves, but it's based on the empty space between those quarks ... That belief implies that gravitational force is an important aspect to energy of primitive particles in an atom, what do you think ?
  8. It's like if someone 100s years ago, made a letter in a bottle into the sea, resides in a shore nowadays discovered by someone who don't know when it was sent ! But, studying the materials, one can knows its age, and explain many things ...
  9. If we simplify the problem, by removing small letters assuming it's the other ones .. having a set of only the capitalized letters, by taking canonical order, we have set of size N, as combinations can be given: 0 ~ {} = {abcd} 1 ~ {A}, {B}, {C}, {D} = {Abcd}, {aBcd}, {abCd}, {abcD} 2 ~ {AB}, {BC}, {CD} = {ABcd}, {aBCd}, {abCD} 3 ~ {ABC}, {BCD} = {ABCd}, {aBCD} 4 ~ {ABCD} that's [math]1 + \sum{\underline N}[/math]
  10. Quantum theory implies that energy with some conditions can activate the creation operator which would create variations of matter from the energy, a hypothesis known as "a universe from nothing" ...
  11. I understand Quantum theory like this, Schrodinger's cat is alive & dead at the same time (super-position) In an advanced manner, if at time T, We have set of states S = { S1, .., Sn }, with P(Si) ~ [0,1] Then the object is { T: P(Si) in state Si | for every Si [math]\in[/math] S } Example: assume Schrodinger's cat have probability of 45% at time T of staying alive, then Schrodinger's cat is { T: 45% alive, 55% dead }
  12. I believe that the universe is only what it is, and time-dimension is a fabrication to show progress .. and that time travel is a one-direction operator applied to the degree of time-flow observation time-flow is a continuous line, where one's observation is periodic over that line ...
  13. I'm just curious to ask ... Since light is photons, I have some questions .. 1. Is the photon speed the same, among all photons ? 2. does the photon have any properties, like particles ? 3. In classical physics I learned that light is just waves, in modern physics it's a photon .. where is the difference, where are we exactly .. matter, wave, energy ? .. thanks
  14. Speculation: Wait a minute, if String theory says that all primitive parts of the matter are simple a vibrant string, then it's possible that the inverse has the inverse vibration on its string level, the cancellation interference is done when inverses hits, except it's a cancellation in terms of string theory ... .. What do you think ?
  15. Just curiosity, now if a matter hits its inverse, they collide resulting nothing, isn't that impossible given Newton's Law ? or is there something else produced ??
  16. Energy and matter, Particle and wave, boson and fermion .. isn't there still something missing in there ?! How magnetism and electromagnetism really works through matter, I think understanding such thing on the atomic level would explain alot ...
  17. I think that I lack the knowledge of physics notion .. I didn't want to speak about potential from electricity, I used the word "potential" based on its meaning in formal English vocabulary, I wanted to talk about the force that is not in progress until it's triggered, such as the gravitational force of a hanged object ... I learned physics in my language, we call it "the dormant force"
  18. Speculation: Speaking about what I think, I think that time-dimesnion doesn't even exist .. I think there is only 1 version of the universe that continue to change, but time-dimension is a fabrication made to show progress in structure ... I think that not all dimensions are for space and time, there might be a different aspect to the dimensions ...
  19. I'm not really good at physics, but I have a thought that might be wrong, Now, since that Higgs Boson is Scalar Boson, not a Vector Boson which is considered as Force I think it's like if a force is in progress, then it has a direction, I guess that if a Vector Boson is considered as a Force, then a Scalar Boson can be considered as a Potential Force like the gravitational potential force of an object that is held in the mid-air ...
  20. If you mean by "mute a website", that you don't receive sound\video\flash\.. from one website\webpage, there is a good choice in Firefox browser where you can find add-ons that blocks all flash\Java blocks until you allow one block to process ...
  21. Copy\Paste thing does not exist in systems core, or terminals .. but there are two ways: 1. use special library for the Operating system you are using (Code will be limited to the OS) 2. create a new application in the system (you can write), to work as a Copy Pad that works on the terminal .. good luck
  22. Speaking about AVs, I use Avira Home Edition
  23. Web Pages .. the same old problem, The same file, the same content, made by standard script .. interpreted differently among every browser No wonder the interpreters names were taken from dinosaurs ...
  24. In any system analysis project, there are two main parts .. Observation, and Analysis, So, there is the code that does the analysis on data you have ... And, there is the code that can fetch needed data from potential sources ... .. I didn't quite understand what is the work, but good luck
  25. I'd tell you to learn Java since it's simple, easy, and platform-independent ... But, I'd like to be honest, and tell you that the best way is to learn C++ first, then Java is in your pocket .. since learning C++ will give you more info about dealing with low-level and system programming, which is not possible from languages such as Java which doesn't interact much with the machine ... .. good luck
