  1. So, we both think you're just being a pain in the ass? Because the reason I posted it is because I thought you were just trying to be a pain in the ass. I thought you might have stumbled onto something profound, something to which we could all find the stength to rally around Mel Gibson. I guess that hope is lost.
  2. I've been really drunk quite a few times and it never gave me notions of Zionist plots nor made me a Holocaust denier. It just made me tell a few girl's that shouldn't have known that I think they're charming. Booze is not going to make Gibson into Dr. Hyde, it'll just keep him from protecting Mel Gibson so much. With that said, I didn't find "The Passion" to be anti-semetic, I found it to be "anti-fundamentalism." Either way, I'd like to see Gibson somehow deported because I'm far beyond tired of him.
  3. Hahahahaha. Grow up anti-gays. They're people. It's who they are. It's not simply a behavioral thing - it's biological. They have a right to pursue their own happiness. You'd think too, you'd get over your petty sandbox bullshit and support something that promotes monogamy. But rationality and logic is never a strong point for those against gay marriage.
  4. The anti-science school board took some pretty nasty hits from last night's primaries. Pro-science incumbent Janet Waugh kept her seat, while Connie Morris and Iris Van Meter's replacement (son-in-law Brad Patzer) were both eliminated. 2 anti-science board members did make it to the November election, but I'm not sure they'll make it through the real election. Long story short, Pro-Science has a 6-4 majority on the Kansas Board of Education, and could possibly have an 8-2 majority after November.
  5. I was Saddam as well. Honestly I could tell where it was going by the way they ask questions.
  6. Cool Facts about Antarctica This one is my personal favorites: A few more: .
  7. The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, and South Park (when I'm in the mood) Modern Marvels on the History Channel and pretty much anything on The Science Channel. Forensic Files on Court Tv isn't bad. All time favorite though has to be The Simpson's. I don't watch it anymore, but it will forever be a part of my life. Also Cheers.

    World War III

I'm not scared of this "World War." The "axis" is simply too weak. Iran, Hezbollah, Syria, Iran and North Korea? Israel could make a parking lot out of all of them all by themselves. And honestly, WW2 Germany or Japan by themselves can handle all of these nations. So, in terms of a long drawn out war that both WW1 and WW2 were, this is more like an beat down. I simply don't see any worthy enemies on the "axis" side. Maybe I'm missing something though. The only issues will be postwar occupations, which hopefully a nation with a more capable regime than the current one in the US can handle. The rhetoric is not significant. However, it does show me how handcuffed the "right" is in finding diplomatic solutions in any conflict.
  9. For those who got a chance to listen to Bush's comments about it he said, "I refuse to use children for spare parts." He's a kneejerk moron and degrading science into loaded, nonsensicle emotional terms. Hopefully this bill will come up again after November and his veto won't matter. Only 2.5 more years, and hopefully the biggest demographic in America will make better choices. Just go ahead and add all the people this research may help to his enourmous overall body count. Culture of life, my ass.
  10. I'm just posting this to echo the statements of Bascule and Azure Phoenix. They pretty much said it.
  11. Oh sweet. I wonder how big it's going to be when finished and what the plan is to assemble.
  12. I saw this. While I like it, I'm worried about it getting in the way, and also worried about what would happen if it gets hit by a small meteorite or some other space debris. I hope it's successful though.
  13. I always wondered why you didn't redirect your efforts into strengthening Wikkipedia's scientific content. Better science in a location accessed more by the general public is an INCREDIBLE service to everyone involved.
  14. I know it seems silly, but people actually believe that drivel. Trust me. I have to deal with it all the time. I tell them these people are dishonest, frauds and look what happens. I hope you do some HARD time Hovind.
  15. I never saw this thread. Just buy some friggin house plants. Preferebly philodendrens.
  16. Thanks. I thought it was a common symptom of clones. (I mean Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer clones, too.) I thought Snuppy had the same problem, but it's tough to weed out fact and fiction in that whole mess.
  17. I could see why homosexuals would want to reject biological cause, because fear that it may imply inferiority or anomoly. But it appears to me that that is not the case at all. There are simply factors that lead towards its tendency, factors that even show the evolutionary success of one's lineage, and biological indicators that are a result.
