  1. Ok, we have a brain that is largely electric. If we are electric this must mean we are able to give off something, energy. Correct?
  2. "We". The 7 billion people on Earth have not witnessed human evolution.
  3. The topic was human evolution, something I have interest in. I was merely sharing my ideas on how we might evolve in the future. I admit some of my other posts I probably should not shared, but I do my own research and observations on my own time. I am just as much a scientist as you are. I like to express myself in a way that others can understand, I am conscious to the fact that other people may read it. We should be able to talk about human evolution in a "loose" unscientific way, how are we able to analyze human evolution if we have not witnessed it before?
  4. Dark matter, also referred to as dark energy. We know it exists, but what could it possibly be? Please share your thoughts, and I will share mine. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedWhat if dark matter(dark energy) is dark thoughts. These dark thoughts are created by us, humans.
  5. I hear what you're saying but you have to remember I am still young, 18 years old. I have a different approach to everything I do. Since when is sharing thoughts illegal though. I'm sure you believe in some things that I do not believe in, we are different. We should be able to utilize the internet in the most beneficial way, and that is sharing ideas. You never know, your ideas could lead to the next big "theory" if you share them.
  6. How well do we as human beings even know each other, better yet, how well do we know ourselves?
  7. No evidence. But tell me how one would go about observing and recording consciousness? So my hypothesis is that their is consciousness in a higher dimension, we just do not know how to observe and record it, let alone experience it.
  8. 1. Have you ever considered that some parts are not being used to full potential? 2. Life isn't just all science and technology, there is a spiritual side as well. You may think you know all about this gland based on this "factual" evidence, but isn't it strange that this gland produces DMT, a natural hallucinogenic? There are ways to activate this gland and start seeing more.
  9. So water in terms for us is life. Without it we'd die. But it could be poisonous to something else?
  10. Isn't a theory the same thing as an idea. Giving birth to an idea is almost like a reflection of the person who it came from. I'm not trying to say that I am smarter than anyone. I may have conflicting ideas with you but that doesn't mean I am right or wrong. It's good to agree and disagree because that's how you learn. Einstein started with an idea, a thought, and it kept growing. Wouldn't you say it is beneficial to keep these ideas and thoughts going, even if some may seem bizarre or false?
  11. Well essentially everything can be thought of as a science. And the evidence is all over the internet. I could supply you with multiple youtube videos and other various websites to help you acquire this knowledge of the pineal gland. But a proper scientist shall make his or her own decisions on what to investigate and what not to investigate. I think the problem with us at this stage is that we think we are smarter than what we actually are. The truth is we still have a lot to learn. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=Gxi&q=pineal+gland&aq=f&aql=&aqi=g10&oq=
  12. Well, your in front of a computer. All it takes is a few keystrokes in Google and you can find out everything you need to know about this "lost" gland. Some of it you may believe, others you may not.
  13. Yes, we all know it is H2O, but why is that combination so special that it produces life. Why aren't we made up of something else? Humans are roughly 70% water and so is the Earth. We are living, so is the Earth living too?
  14. In reply to mooeypoo: I saw a special the other day about "The Lost Gland". The Pineal Gland. It allegedly has some bizarre properties and is definitely worth looking into.
  15. Just an open discussion. I mean we take it for granted, and it's obviously important to us if we are 70% water. So you can think of us as containers of water that can walk and talk. But what is it and why is it so important?
  16. We drink it, we are made up of it....but what is water? Please share your ideas and opinions.
  17. Well, isn't there more than just 1 type of life on Earth. I mean trees are much different from cats, which are much different from fish...etc.
  18. Early life existed in very extreme conditions, which could have been the right conditions to trigger the proper chemical reactions to form an early unicellular organism.
  19. I think it has to exist at a higher dimension. Sure when we walk down the street we are conscious of a passerby and cars honking their horns, but are we conscious of the stars in the sky, what that passerby may be thinking, and are we conscious of what other animals are possibly thinking as well. Consciousness is a topic that remains a mystery in today's world because people simply don't know how to observe or record it.
  20. They made the calendar based on "days" They observed the stars on day 1...recorded....day 2....so on and so on. They observed when day 1 repeated and put that as the year. It's a really unique way of recording, interesting for anyone willing to learn about the past.
  21. I'm not really understanding the question you're stating
  22. I'm not going to argue anymore...the mayans used a day-to-day calendar not a year-to-year calendar which we use today, they were able to predict eclipses within the minute just by using what they were given by God. Pretty good for a primitive culture.
  23. Right, you have to excuse my sporadic thinking. I always thought the system we live in is so corrupt though, I was born into a family of an illegal mexican immigrant and an alcoholic. This is something I had to deal with for most of my childhood, which later brought me into DSS and all that. I've been through the "system" and it's not fair. It always seemed to me that the rich kids get a free ride and the "poor" don't matter. My life has been very rough due to that fact, but I don't think that should discredit my thoughts and opinions. Consider it bringing another side to the story. My thought process is far different than other people, it may be in a class of it's own. I look at things as if I'm just "one" being in this planet Earth. So you can understand how my thoughts may differ from yours.
  24. It also secretes DMT which is rather odd. I don't believe it is all mystic, but it annoys me that we don't use it when stories claim of such importance. I don't think we should completely denounce the History Channel either, those people dedicate their lives to the work they do, I wouldn't call that bullshit.
  25. Ok, still...There are areas of the brain which we know little about. Which we don't even know how to use. And I would almost be certain that most people are linear thinkers, just based on observations and reading the text of other people. Some of us don't know how to examine other's ideas and consider it a possibility. I mean we are all human, but we treat each other stupidly, constantly raising eyebrows at eachother and arguing over points that are rather useless just to maintain this "ego".
