  1. Thanks for the advice, Dak, i'll head over to Home Depot tommorow.
  2. Hmm, I wanna make a bow then. What'll I need?
  3. My original plan was to extract stuff from stuff (yeah, quite vague) and just make stuff from aformentioned stuff. But I guess my ideas have changed a bit. I'd be cool to make some projectile launcher to propel stuff over long distances. Any non-explosive thing I can make?
  4. Actually, gadgets and/or explosives. Just for fun, though. Don't really wanna kill anyone.
  5. Let's refrain from slang and call it a penis. As for resensitizing your penis.. I think your screwed there, buddy. Look online but I can't give you and surefire cures.
  6. For some reason, I burst out into laughing after seeing that. I don't know why. As for widening veins and such, I know that nitrous oxide does it, but I don't know how it factors into all of this.
  7. Stop being jerks to him and try to answer his question. It's highly possible he just desensitized his penis, in that case he's screwed and I don't think there's any cures.
  8. Thanks. And could it be possible if life evolved orbitting a star that emits most of its radiation in other parts of the spectrum, like radio or ultraviolet, the organisms would be able to see in those frequencies?
  9. Let's say that there was an object that can't be seen in the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum. How would it appear? Black? Invisible?
  10. What a shame I live in a city, there's too many lights around. All I can really see is the constellation Orion when it's in season, and Polaris.
  11. Adults attracted to minors are called pedophiles, we all know that. But is there a name for the state of mind in which minors seek out similar relationships with adults, or are minors deemed not able to come up with such thoughts? Not that i'm actually going through that or anything, it's just a curiosity about what it's called.
  12. Oh. Wow. Volcanoes. But besides.. if indeed there is life there, and all we can see is boulders, that means that life there is simplistic bacteria or just too small to be seen easily. Or maybe life indeed does exist in an advance state and there's a race of advanced mole men waiting for their revenge on the boulders!
  13. My tonsils are a bit weird in appearance.. they have a few shallow circular holes in them, in which this gunky white stuff accumulates. I can dislodge the stuff with a Q-Tip, and it smells absolutely horrible, like rotting leather. I try gargling mouthwash but the next morning I wake up with a painful sore throat. In fact, the only illnesses I ever seem to have involve the throat region. What's wrong with my tonsils?

    Haha.

Oh, how odd. I'll get the correct link soon.
  15. Kermit

    Haha.

My friend Matt made this gem. Haha.
  16. Great. Reinforce my phobia of insects. Agh.
  17. Hi. I'm Kermit. I'm not exactly that new, i've been around for nearly a week. Signed up on my birthday on August 3rd. So, uh, yeah.
  18. Would an object made of antimatter look exactly like its matter counterpart and just have a different electric charge, or would it appear different and have different properties?
  19. Actually, i've had my computer for nearly four years now, and it's working even better than when I first bought it with all my tweaking. I doubt hardware has a lifetime like that, probably if you treat it right it'll work for quite a while.
  20. See if this helps: If you have Windows XP, press F8 before the Windows XP splash screen with the moving bar on it, you'll get into safe mode. Select "Last Known Good Configuration" and press enter. Helped me out today, had a few problems.
  21. Out of curiosity, if your computer isn't working, how are you online?
  22. I get bored easily. Any way I can extract gasses from the air or extract sizeable quantities of metal from ordinary sources? As far as I know, you can pass a magnet over fortified breakfast cereal and collect some fine grains of iron. It's not enough though.
  23. Yet nobody notices how the general public not only knows the plutonium and uranium isotopes needed to make nuclear weapons, but also the kilogram quantities and where to get it. Wow. I'd imagine a Dr. Strangelove situation soon.
  24. I thought other metals could rust too, or at least become tarnished by reacting with oxygen?
