Win10 update killed all my browsers. Newtork is there, pings go through, all the browsers are dead. Its a known and defined problem apparently but nothing worked including reinstalling network drivers from USB (yes I flushed DNS and did all the CMD procedures) I had to rollback to previous OS version. I don't even know which update did it, I don't have time to look now. Beware of the latest Win10 updates!

While I think I do understand
the hateantipathy towards MS and advantages of a competitive market, the future imo does not rest in fragmentation of the market. From user point of view, and yes I understand that users are morons, it makes sense to have standardized UI. Regardless of what I think, as you correctly noted, the market will take care of any dilemmas I could have. My main complaint about MS is that its not open source enough.Your kid will not, probably, get his thumb squashed twice in a row, trial and error, and that is all what really matters

The upside is, in theory, that after the worst Monday ever, when you are at the bottom, it can only get better, will go up.
To all issues I've had with network connectivity I found a solution on the webs as I was not alone having the problem. Tho as you say its time and energy consuming. Better roll back and wait. Its indeed quite amazing that after possibly 10s thousands of people testing it, mostly through the preview program as in-house testing has limited reach and effectivity, there are still unresolved issues.
