  1. If the Holographic principle is correct and black holes are holograms then it might be that all Black Holes are connected via two dimensional information...all black holes are then entangled in a sense.
  2. In many weekly or monthly magazines you very often find stories and advice concerning 'getting back on track' or how to deal with relationships and friends... The path towards contentment is a pretty popular subject in those magazines.
  3. Isn't knowledge stored via the sensoory information that races through neurons via synapses? If you can create 'a copy' then it's based on the DNA but then it will not be an exact copy.
  4. So I look those things up and this is the only thing you manage to say?
  5. Why aren't those relevant? Is everything that's not called 'Bible' not relevent?
  6. I would think so yes. 5.) Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard 6.) The Art of Choosing 32.) Brain Rules: 12 Principles for Surviving and Thrivin http://www.sparringmind.com/psychology-books/ There are probably many more, I didn't read everything...
  7. "Its Not How Good You Are, Its How Good You Want To Be" by Paul Arden "Damn Good Advice (For People With Talent)" by George Lois "Blockbusters; Why Big Hits" And Big Risks Are The Future Of The Entertainment Business by Anita Elberse "The Doodle Revolution" by Sunni Brown "How To Win Friends And Influence People" by Dale Carnegie There are many more... edit: Here you can also find what you are looking for http://www.sparringmind.com/psychology-books/
  8. True, the bible can help. But there are many other books that can help, books that don't imply superstition, paradoxical 'nonsense' and cruelty.
  9. That's true. If I can choose I would want the powers of captain america and the suit of Antman.
  10. Because you are born with possibilities. It seems harsh but the only certainty when you are born is that you will die. You are born with the abilty to be content or to be in fear. I think during your education you learn how to deal with those abilities because people obviously prefer to be content then to be in fear, that's why people avoid circumstances or environments which can cause fear or they take necessary precautions to prevent fear. It's indeed absurd to claim you need religion to be content. I heard it very oftern that people think you need religion to be a moral person. That's a reason why atheists are often so mistrusted in the USA...they seem to think any religion is better then no religion.
  11. that's true.I mean only exact in a biological sense.
  12. Consciousness is imo something that arises from our stored knowledge/experience and the way it interacts. If you somehow can create the exact copy of someone in let's say 110 years and 2 months then he or she would have a different conscousness since consciousness is something that arises from our stored knowledge/experience.
  13. Infinity makes everything possible. There are imo many paradoxes and logical impossibilities which make infinity impossible. Afterlife is about the consciousness which continues to exist after the death of the body. This concerns a concept which is often part of a religion, it doesn't concern infinity.
  14. Again, contentment is not innate, the ability to be content or to be in fear is innate. edit: If contentment is innate then you can't know if you are maltreating a baby.
  15. I thought it was very funny. I posted it in the lounge.
  16. So you think the bible (I suppose only the NT ?) teaches contentment? Can you give an example? What makes you content when you read the bible? Or maybe you mean the bible teaches people how to be content...the ability to be content is inborn, it's an important survivaltool. And your parents(or whoever educates you) helps the devellopment of this survivaltool.
  17. Thanks for the advice. Pink wine is Rosé? Pink wine is the wine we often drink during and after diner. I'm doubting to make honey wine, appel cider or a grape wine like Rosé. Do you heve a good recipe?
  18. I would still be a fly, then I can spy on people without them noticing me. And you will die trough a Black Arrow which was forged by Thrór, who was the King under the Mountain before its fall seated in the Lonely Mountain.
  19. I think art found its origin in communication and to impress people/animals. I can't find anything to back this up. All our properties are in a sense present in all animals but they look very different because we evolved differently. This is a paper concerning the evolution of human artistic creativity: The components of art include colour, pattern and the reproduction of visual likeness. The 2D and 3D art forms that were created by Upper Palaeolithic Europeans at least 30 000 years ago are conceptually equivalent to those created in recent centuries, indicating that human cognition and symbolling activity, as well as anatomy, were fully modern by that time. The earliest known decorative patterns include the zig-zag patterns on a 77 000 BP ochre block from the Blombos caves, South Africa (Henshilwood et al. 2002) and the rainbow-like nested curves and parallel lines etched on a piece of flint from around 54 000 BP in the Levant (Marshack, 1996) (Fig. 2). Bednarik (2003b) and Soressi & dErrico (2007) document several other examples of parallel lines, nested curves and zig-zag patterns on bones and bone implements from the Lower and Middle Palaeolithic of Europe; these are associated with Neanderthal and older Homo remains. The cognitive activity underlying pattern-making is complex, involving planning and intention. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2815939/ This is a Wikipedia about the purpose: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art#Purpose
  20. any animal which is alive today...
  21. Especially concerning science. I made a lot of nitrocellulose http://www.scienceforums.net/topic/93730-burning-nitrocellulose/ I did several elephant toothpaste exp., with yeast, KI, blood and salad. I made a non-Newtonian fluid with corn starch. I made several Cartesian divers. I put Iron powder in a glass jar and played with some strong magnets. I tried to make a ferromagnetic fluid but it failed. I placed an egg and a bone in vinegar. I made hot ice. I treated sand with a spray to water proof shoes. Then you get hydrofoob sand. ... Now I have the idea to start fermenting stuff to make my own ethanol.
  22. I am also seriously disabled. I have a neuromuscular disease which gives a lot of symptoms. Most important are retinal degeneration and less strength/coordination in my muscles. I'm pretty skinny and can't walk without help. I don't have a purpose, I just often find a purpose. This can be to take care for my garden and I used to do a lot of experiments, which is why I joined this forum.
  23. I've worked one month in a big grocery store, one month in a moving company and a couple weeks in a dogsledding farm. They were all bad for different reasons, it's hard to pick one.
  24. You have to ask my mom or dad about that. I don't quite get it. I think there are many websites with videos concerning this subject.
