  1. They can still live a happy life in an agricultural community. We just need to give them better education in my opinion, and better homes.

As well as that, less exploitation on their resources. They can get enough food from their farming , and other resources can be traded over if needed. However, the current problem is that they don't get to eat the food that they sweat to earn. After a 100 bag of rice they produce, they'll get only one bag for themselves (Estimation/Exaggeration).

But after all, from the economical and exploitative standpoint, it's not our problem, so why should we take responsibility into the problem of others?

  2.

Do you have some links to news reports of pacemakers (or other implanted medical devices) being hacked?

BBC: http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-17623948 - States the vunelrability of pacemakers to hijack etc

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2383908/Was-nerd-killed-discovering-murder-pacemaker.html

In my opinion, I think it'll be quite hard to catch someone who hijacks into medical devices, unless there are witnesses etc, because they could do it from a distance, and discreetly. It's not a traceable thing.

  3. When I was a kid, I felt like I had this power too. Like I could make it rain, if I tried hard enough, or making the wind in either direction at will.
Don't have any facts to back up this statement, so I won't continue.

However, there are some kinds of way people can sense what kind of weather will come up. Here are some examples:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_pains E.g: Body feels pain when it's going to rain
    http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2013-03-24/news/fl-rain-in-bones-20130324_1_bones-weather-spotter-barometric-pressure

  4.

However, I'm not sure how real the hacking threat is. More movie-plot than real, probably.

The hacking threat is very real, my acquaintance.

As someone who knows programming, and have managed some servers before, I believe I am allowed to say that it is not difficult to hack/bypass an online security system.

There was once a time, when I was more immature than of myself now, I hacked into a Pokemon website and became a self made Admin. Hacking is usually not to computing prowess, but rather by being deceiving and smooth trickery.

On a random note, I became more responsible, mature, and put my skills to better uses.

But the conclusion is, hacking happens. And from my personal experience, usually for personal amusement.

  5. Homemade electrical systems can be quite easily made with very small amounts of metal.

Detonators do not necessarily need metal components, and the amount of wire can be kept to a minimum. As well as that, such small amounts are unlikely to be picked up by standard airline security metal detectors. When required, an electric battery to set off the device can be taken from some other innocent electrical device like a phone.

    Also

    Plastic mines.

    Solution I propose:
Dogs. - They can sniff out chemicals . It's also affordable.

    Also chemical detectors.

You can detect chemically, which is already a thing.

But I don't think there's any need to scare civilians with heavier security though like more dangerous weapons.

Prevent the troublemakers from entering in the first place.

  6. There is sound in "outer space" because "outer space" is not a full vacuum.

A full vacuum, however, will prevent any sound from passing through.

    Conclusion:
There is Sound in "Outer Space" because it is not a full vacuum.

    The end.

  7. What Disney did was NOT plagiarism, Lmao.

Plagiarism is the exact copying of ones work, not the sharing or doing something similar to ones idea/work.

If I wrote a book about a user here, or made a movie about their life, that would not be plagiarism now, would it? :P

    x3

  8. Time is a relative, it's different for every person.

(Time is) The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole. - Dictionary

Having fun for 1 hour may feel like a minute, and having to hold onto a burning red coin for a second may feel like like an hour.

We have tried to measure time, and we have succeeded. The clock measures a second at a seemingly constant rate. But a second to each person is different to another.

I personally think the concept of time is something we can never grasp fully.

We live in a SPACE/TIME reality. Simply put, Time is "Movement" and space defines that movement.

It's nice to know you have tried to contribute, but there are many flaws in the sentence you have given.

What if you don't move at all? Does this mean Time has stopped?
If a person stands still in a cave, does the space he has moved (none) mean that no time has passed?

  9. In my opinion, I think Jesus was an existing man.

He has not only been referred to by the bible, but from other religious books too, from the Quran (Islam) and the Torah (Jewish).
The proof is of what we see, and what we CAN see is the scroll, texts and words that were brought down by the people from the past to our current generation.

This is the only proof we have of Jesus for the current moment.

It is up to the individual to choose whether to believe in his existence or not.

  10. Yes, it would be beneficial to the economic growth of the world. But think about this..

The forests of deep Africa harbor more than a million species of flora and fauna, will the destruction of these thing be worth the trade?
What do we do with the community that are already happy with their lifestyle? What if people don't want to give their land?
During 2008, Dubai had a financial crisis for being low on oil, what if Africa run out of resources?

  11. This is a great example of confirmation bias mistakenly strengthening a conclusion that was not reached by reason. You've always believed in this bit of misinformation about the bumblebees, but until today didn't know why it was wrong. It was explained very rationally from multiple sources, yet you remain convinced "we overlooked something here too".

Until you actually study the relevant scientific concepts, you'll remain convinced of your "belief" in chi. Nobody will ever be able to convince you that chi doesn't exist. But when you learn to see explanations for natural phenomena rationally, with a critical eye towards the processes and evidence that support them, you'll be able to understand why the way we reach our conclusions needs to be as trustworthy as possible.

I did not claim to believe in Chi. I am just looking into a speculation from an optimistic standpoint.

But I suppose you are somewhat right, I will have to look into the subject further.

  12. Well, I have this.

It's from History Channel. But that is one person, and not anyone.

However , it also shows that a person can do it. Other people have the potential too.

Doubt it's satisfactory enough though. (I'll try to get some more evidence -w-)

(I GTG , Ill be having my next post in a relatively later time)
  13. What bumblebees do is fly, in violation of an assumption that their wings are smooth and rigid. The proper conclusion is that their wings are not smooth & rigid. The broader lesson is GIGO.

    http://www.snopes.com/science/bumblebees.asp

The article also implies that we overlook things. The reason bumblebees was initially thought to have broken the laws of flight was because they did a mathematical calculation on smooth wings.

"Insect flight and wing movements can be quite complicated. Wings aren't rigid. They bend and twist. Stroke angles change. New, improved models take that into account."

There is still a possibility that we overlooked something here too, even if it cannot be seen (for now).

I expect you don't want the 'if it's possible it can happen' kind of thing, but a possibility is all I can give with the data I have right now.

I am trying to understand the answers you are providing.

Maybe we should drop this line of discussion

As am I, trying to understand the questions you are asking.

And as for the electricity bit, I was going to the bit where the electrical process in our body can be harnessed to release raw electrical energy from a concentrated point, thus a potential to light a light bulb.

And very well, line of discussion dropped.

    *Drops Line Of Discussion*

  14. Obviously not true.

I meant, bumblebees break the laws of flight, not that its flight breaks the law of flight.

    What is manipulating it?

I am not trying to be difficult, just to be clear about what you are talking about.

For example, are you talking about normal biological processes or "you" somehow controlling your own cells in some currently unknown way?

I know you are not trying to be difficult, I am merely answering your questions the way it is as to emulate that writing an answer is not always easy so that we share a mutual understanding.

That being said, the questions must be asked precisely to the kind of answer you wish to hear.

We can use one of our normal biologically process, like sending a message from our brain to our muscle, but this time to the cells.

I'm just not sure what you are trying to say. I don't know if you are being deliberately vague or you are just not making yourself clear.

I am just answering your questions as it is, and as comfortable as I can. I too, am just not sure what kind of response is expected.

  15. Maybe a better question would be, how can a altruism most effectively be achieved if directed to educate, motivate, maintain, and benefit a large social community.

Be kind to each other, be compassionate, and reflect upon your own actions.

Teach the younger generation to do the same.

    (True idea...)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And then, if they don't wish to do the stated above, we kill them. > :)

The 'killers' will be separated from the 'altruistic' community though, and are selected by the higher ranking officials.

Don't worry, the 'altruistic' people will make most part of the community, and will be the largest one.

We will have to pass a lot of laws to go for this idea though.

    (...with added drama)

  16.

OK. That is why I asked. I thought you might mean something as vague and unsurprising as "there are electrical processes in our bodies".

Although it still isn't clear what you mean by "Cells can be manipulated to channel electricity in such a way that we can 'control them'."

What do mean by "manipulating" cells?

What do you mean by "channelling electricity"?

In what way can we "control" our cells?

However, all this provides no support for your claims about Qi, or about "electrokinesis". It also has nothing to do with biophotons.

Manipulating cells, as in to control a cells behavior or reaction.

Channeling electricity, as in to control where we want the electricity to go to.

We can control our cells by interacting with it.

Yes, the answer may be vague, but two paws can only write so much.

All things are connected. The facts I give may support my claims for later.

And yet these other forces work according to set laws, regardless of "Chi".

A bumblebee can fly, breaking the laws of flight.

Science laws have been broken and renewed over time, to enhance our understanding.

Also, Chi probably has a law too.

  17.

Please provide a reliable reference that shows that our badies are capable of "controlling electricity".

Our bodies can conduct electricity #True

    Our bodies contain cell #True

    Cells contain water #True

Cells can be manipulated to channel electricity in such a way that we can 'control them'.

Since the your asks to provide a reliable reference to show our bodies are capable of controlling electricity, then, basic science (As in, a Middle School/High School science, assuming it's like UK curriculum) shall be my reference.

I posted this in another thread recently. It could be a model for what is happening here:

You will have to better than that.

D'aww shucks. @"You will have better than that"

As for the device, thanks for linking it, I shall look into it. :3
