      Congratulations. Though a somewhat hairy, plausibly sexy to some (or likely not), leg lamp based on one of my own legs would no doubt have saved you any equality issues.

      ...but I'm sure the plaque displays well also and is no doubt well deserved

    My wife, Nancy, passed away the morning of the 16th in her sleep. I am lost, I don't know what to do, I keep thinking I'll ask Nancy what to do then it hits me again.

      I can only imagine what you're going through, and have gone through, but I do know time can help, even if it is one day at a time.

     I don't have Covid 19! test came back negative! Looks like just plain old viral pneumonia! That 104 fever was a bitch! Feeling better now! All I need now is a flight back to NC, CA is nice but home is nicer!

      Glad you're feeling better. Safe travels home. I had 104 less than 5 months ago with a blood infection but fortunately no pneumonia (or friggin' Covid staring at me). Still no fun.

    I've paid off my non-existent student loan! Whoo hoo! Party at my house!!!! (I.E. I just passed having enough money saved up that my entire college education is paid for in advance).

      Congrats Raider and good advice MigL. Easier said than done of course...and you can't account for every eventuality...but a little extra in the bank can allow saving it again many times over...in mental health as well as dollars.

    Let's put all the Anti-vaccers, Flat Earthers, and Moon Hoaxers on several rockets and shoot them into the Sun... We'll inoculate everyone so they don't get sick and die on the way there, we'll make sure they orbit the Earth a few times so they can see that it's a sphere, and then we'll have the rockets fly by the Moon so they can see the lunar landing site but, after all of that, the rockets will take them to the Sun where they will never be able to infect others.
