For those of you advising booting into safe mode to bypass the security, we're not talking FAT32 anymore, and if the machine has been set up correctly there is no way in. *

No argument there. Im not against teaching people how things work, but it would be pointless to teach him if he didnt understand what was going on. Starting on things they already knew, and then building from there, would be alot easier than tackeling a montain before a molehill.

I usually have a pattern. Ill leave it on, and then if it starts smoking, ill turn it off. If your computer catches fire before you turn it off, this means your timing is off. I can leave mine on for a while and it really wont matter, but its also on its last leg, so i am testing its durability now. If you decide to leave it on for extended periods of time, id turn the monitor and all other external devices off, and put the computer on hibernate.

Yes you can. When your computer is booting up, as in you just turned it on (making sure that theres no miscommunication), press F5 a couple of times and you should get to a black screen with a buncha options on it. Use the arrow keys to scroll to safe mode. That will get you to the desktop and you can edit the user acounts as you please from there.

Also, configing the mother board can be tedious and dangerous, for the computer , if you dont know what your doing, so id play it safe and do the safe mode.

It did sound like there was some kind of high resonance of electric magnetism. If it could see through a surface, it must affect the surface at a molecular or an atomic level. But, Lance is probably right. Some guy who knows how to make a device that can see through surfaces without knowing how it would work doesnt sound very believable. Just knowing what it looked like in a dream wouldnt be enough to put it together and calibrate it with the proper care and knowledge.

There has been something of the kind suggested in colonizing Mars, that involved burning 'greenhouse' chemicals in order to make the enviroment warmer. Could something similar be suggested for Titan, where a system could be set up that did not need human assistance? Anywho, this is very interesting information.

by "many histories", are you reffering to how different people see history different ways? In a sense, I believe we do have a past, and things have history in them. It's the element that everything revolves around the sun that makes us percieve that something unrelevent to that limitation has a 'time'. I would parallel that to being in a car crash. The person inside the car is the one experiencing whatever elements are being subject to him/her, while an oberver is not affected by what is happening. If one is in deep space, where there is no light, he has nothing to gadge the distance between events, exept if he had a clock or something. But even then, the clock is based on Earth time. The consept of past time as in if an event happens before or after or another is quite real, but the consept of gadging the distance, frequency, and occurance of events is a human consept.
