Hardest theoretical exam of the whole 6-year medical curriculum tomorrow (which is what every grad student says). Wish me luck.

On a side note, I'm finally moved into my new home, and my internet speeds are a blazing 386 Mbps down / 36 Mbps up. I know it's not the 1 Gbps that a few lucky people get, but it's the fasted available in my area

The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of beauty is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, but indifference between life and death. ---Elie Wiesel---

The the human mind is an interesting thing. The the brain is highly developed, and the the human body has gone through many changes to support the the brain. When the the brain is reading sentences, it tends to skim and fill in the the blanks. I am certain that most of you did not notice the the double 'the's in the sentences. Have a good day!

I obtained 95.6% in my 10th standard board examination. I'm really happy.

Principal thinks I cheated on my exam because the system says I finished too quickly and got too many answers right. So I have to take it again, under supervision. I better get extra points for this.

Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us that do.

I overheard a particularly incompetant colleague of mine tell another student that you 'learn through mistakes,' just now. Whille I believe the statement to be true, if all you ever do is make mistakes (as he does), then have you really learned anything?

"Just helped an undergrad lab student extract DNA from a Strawberry. She was disappointed in our final result, as she was expecting to be able to see the famous "double helix." Hmm....

I just realized how to find percentages 100 times easier then before.

Even if that means that those things are new for you and not necessarily for other people. Few things give a better feeling than discovering a relation between some variables and having it confirmed by either finding a (known) proof for it yourself, or having it confirmed by a 'savant' in the field.

I know the feeling of 'discovering' something and hoping for it to be recognized, when I was your age. I found certain relations in mathematics and asked about them in a Dutch science forum. There the mods banned me for repetetively asking about shit that was already known - little did I know. Which is why I'm here. My oldest posts here are such relations that I found. Don't hold yourself from discovering new things.
