Realintruder
What is infinity times the imaginary unit, that is also the square root of negative 1, i?
ajb
Infinity is not a complex number, so you have to be careful making sense of infinity times a complex number. The usual things is to define infinity times any number as being infinity.
quanta'namo nay!
A tricky question would be how does one define the square root of negative infinity
Valkaes
Infinity is neither a number nor an expression. Infinity (at least in my theories I have posted on this forum) is non-existing and is a flaw in mathematics. But this is but a theory from someone who doesn't take physics or largely advanced mathematics.

Moderator Note Bringing up your pet theory in anyone else's discussion is considered thread hijacking. Please refrain from doing so in the future. You have a thread for that discussion; you should discuss the subject there. (This applies to bringing up tangential discussions, too, quanta'namo nay!. Then maybe you should take some mathematics; infinity is very well defined and the mathematics around infinities produces some amazing and surprising results.
