I think the current belief of scientists is that entropy is increasing throughout the universe, and that it ends in a big freeze untold trillions of years from now. However, end suggests something sudden and final, which is not what the big freeze predicts.

Resurrection in what sense? Do you mean individual resurrection as the Bible suggests, or something else?

Something weird happened 2,000 years ago so you can't say it doesn't happen.

Yes. People started to believe that somebody resurrected. Funny, isn't it? But nobody investigated the case when it was still hot, so we can put the case ad acta.

IMO, no... At least, not in the way people commonly understand it. Our atoms and parts go into other things and then those things persist and eventually break apart and themselves go into other things, but our selves and our conscious minds and our body composition, etc almost certainly cease to be when the heart stops pumping, the blood stops flowing, and the brain stops firing.

I believe DNA contains more information than yet fully understood. Perhaps ideas, fears, beliefs, and etc important to survival is coded and stored. Perhaps some family members (children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc) share much more than eye color with one another. Perhaps a whole psyche is shared. Nothing an individual would be conscious of though. That is as close to resurrection as I get. Even then I concede such an idea it is not well supported by data and has a high likelihood of not being on base.

Certain experiences like fears can be transferred to future generations

Fear of a smell can be passed down several generations

If a particular smell makes you uneasy but you don't know why, perhaps you should ask your grandparents.

Mice whose father or grandfather learned to associate the smell of cherry blossom with an electric shock became more jumpy in the presence of the same odour, and responded to lower concentrations of it than normal mice. ...Read more (New Scientist article)

These days we've got 3-D Printers, which use sprays of atoms to build up solid objects.

Admittedly, the objects made by present-day printers are quite simple. Usually geometrical shapes. And made of plastic, or some metal powder mixed with glue.

But in the future, mightn't printers be improved. So they could use carbon atoms, and make more complex objects? Such as human brains, or complete human bodies

After all, your brain and body are only made of atoms, arranged in a particular pattern. When this pattern has been programmed into a suitable 3-D printer, it could print you out again.
