In silico

I've been planning to make a pharmacology project to take part in a science competition. I'm a sixteen year old student from Turkey, and this competition helds place in my country. I have a good project in my mind, but testing with vertebrates is against the rules. I have searched for other ways to do my project and now I'm thinking about in silico experimentation. What do you think about in silico? Is it something I can use if I have an expert with me?

If you have any information about university labs with this technology, I would be pleased to learn about them.

Thanks for sharing your time and apologies for any spelling/grammar mistakes! :)
