COX-3 and Acetaminophen

I am currently doing an essay on this topic. However I have came to a problem. I can't seem to find any info on which part of acetaminophen that reacts and performs the analgesic function. Is it possible to give me few hints on this? (It has a chemical formula of C8H9NO2)

Also, a lot of sources indicate the lack of reaction of COX-1 and COX-2 to acetaminophen. And some suggest COX-3 is the key. Since it is first made known to public in 2002, not a lot of info can be found. Can anyone point me to the right direction for searching for its info?

I'd suggest your try PubMed to search for journal articles on this subject. I only remember that COX-1 and 2 are involved in the inflammatory response and I think acetaminophen is paracetamol which is obviously a NSAID....beyond that I'm no use
