Electroplating What salts do you use? Rate Topic: -----

I was wanting to try out electroplating some stuff pretty much just for fun. A guy was explaining how he did it online and he submerged the two metals in salt water. I also saw somewhere that you need a specific salt to the metal. Does it just work better that way?

I just looked it up again and it said to use vinegar instead of water. Which is better?
